well i finally got some time to work on the ranger yesterday. figured i wild finish up the lowers cuz he should have the money to buy parts for the spindels so i can start making them next weekend..i am pretty happy with the way they turned out![]()
yeah they are go big or go home...lol better to over build than under build.
^Exactly... Is this for an XLT? What year ranger?
it is for an edge. i think the year is like 04 or something.. i will have to ask the exact year..
it is probaly a littel much for a ranger but if he is going to drive the truck like i drive mine it will be perfect..lol
shit looks good man keep up that nice work, how u welding them, mig, tig and what welder?
They are mig welded. I just can't wait to see the kit on the truck.
yea thats what i thought by looking at them, what welder are u using
thanks...it is a Lincoln mig welder 120 volt i want to get a miller 220 volt but just haven't yet...
i am going to start designing the spindles tomorrow if everything goes as planed
Looks nice man! how much you charhing for the whole shebang?
Learn by doing.
yea im trying to get a 220 mig myself havnt came across any deals yet, ive got everything else, 2 120v migs, 220v stick and best of all a lincoln Precision Tig 225, havnt learned tig but i will when my build comes up. gotta say looking good so far. so did u design everything, how much would u want for upper lower and spindel not welded i gotta get my neighbor addicted to dirt and speed which equals air lol
I'm charging him $1800 for labor which includes the kit and installation. Parts and shocks, he purchased. We used 1" uniballs on uppers and lowers. All heim steering, 10" Racerunner coil overs, custom spindles, BMS snouts, I'm machining custom snout blocks for when I build the spindles. I'm also going to plate the frame, and reinforce upper and lower arm mounts. Total is around $4,000 to $4,500 for the full setup.
is your f150 a J-Arm set up? i couldnt really tell in the pics?
I want a 94' F-1fiiittttyyyy.
