    Default 91 Toyota: BIG RED

Started out as a Christmas present when I was 14 years old. I changed a couple things since then. Im 19, started the build my senior year of high school with the motor swap. Built everything myself with some help of close friends. Currently my daily driver till I can afford a tow rig. I then plan on racing Vorra within the next year or so and work my way up to MDR and BITD. I dont wanna jeopardize my job by gettin hurt racing bikes, perfect excuse to fully build my truck. haha

    2.7 3RZ 4cyl w/ W56 2wd tranny
    TC Gen. III
    62" H70 deavers
King c/o's and FOA triple bys
    Tundra axle w/ 5.29's
    35" BFG KM2's

Still need to cage it, think I'll wait for a new DD first.

Was the frame already boxed behind the cab? I can only really see it's channel at the end

Moonrocks is about 20 miles north of Reno, NV. Its pretty much the closest place to take trucks to the desert for us up in norcal.

that thing looks bad ass. the stance is tight. the tires look big but fucking cool as shit on there. the tundra axle compliments the bedsides and front width nicely.

Maybe I missed it but what year tundra year axle? Any knowlege on gear ratios common in those? I found one local for around $100 just missing one drum so my wheels were turning.

Its out of a 2000 2wd tundra. they all come with 4.10 gears, and the trd modle ones may or maynot have an electronic locking diff. I picked mine up for 450 bucks. If you ever plan on running a big motor, i would just go straight for a 9" but the tundra axle is perfect for a 4 cyl or v6.

    Awsome looking truck!!
So why did you go with the H70 Deavers instead of The F67? Do they just have more arch for a taller ride height? The stance looks bitchen by the way...

yea they h70s have about 14.5" of arch. Gives the truck alot more up travel. I would have liked in to ride a little lower but the h70s are more of a race setup according to 1450 guys. Deaver doesnt make the h70 pack anymore, its basically the equivalant of a custom pack, similar to what helton ran. I fully dig em tho, handles alot better than i thought it would.

Truck looks really good with that stance.

Quick question, do you ever drive the truck at night? Ever been hassled about having those Hellas for headlights?

yea I drive it at night just about everyday. I dont like the beam they give off, its like a 50x4 foot horizontal beam, so i gotta use the 700's if i want to see more than 50ft or so in front of me. Havnt got hassled yet. In chico i never get bitched at for the many things illegal about my truck, but seems like everytime i leave town i get the red and blues. been pulled over 16 times, 3 tickets haha
