    Who's tuning your shocks? Collins?

Sometimes thins thread reminds me of GG's Ranger. It's still 17 pages short.

Got to love wires, the start of the roof light bar

The dash all wired up minus the ptt

    With the PTT

The old panel leads, decided to split the rows up and just use the 10 gauge wire but four instead of 2. The panel is now complete

1450 light wired and ready to go

The light bar is all wired, just need the final harness for the last relay so we can run the wires from the light bar connector to the panel connector, then we can test everything YAY

I might have missed it but, to be legal ya gotta lose the blue lite switch and hardware it. If you run another class then just remove the light by having it on a plug at the light...

Just by the fact you put what you have now online (and asked the sanctioning body about) and have been advised on how to get around the rule (at tech anyway) you can expect to be scrutinized.

With the detail you have put I to your truck, it would be silly to have some dumb post tech issue like this remain on yer truck.

    Just sayin'...

Besides, TMorf is counting on something like this to use as a way to win the bet...

I made a check list, for electrical prep, before and after each outing I plan to go through it.... so far the harness still hasnt showed up ..... so i went to home depot bought 150ft of pvc and made some banner holders... the light bar is back on the truck all bolted up and the heim condoms installed... they were a bitch, the hardest yet (mostly cause that size is meant to fir 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4 and we were installing them on 3/4)

thanx man, i love the paint.. having to move a couple graphics around and get a few more made will be fun... for the chase rig, instead of painting it im going to look into getting a wrap to look like my truck, will see what happens. Hopefully by the Mint race we can have the chase truck done.

I am trying to decide on which helmet to get and where... looking at Br1 top induction, Ar-10, G-force & Pyrotect.... problem is trying to get a good deal with it wired, I found great deals but there not wired and I would have to send it off and not sure the time frame for that, or if that rugged radio kit with mic, speaker, and ear bud jack kit for 89 is a good product.

On top of that i need a neck restraint setup, anyone using any. I am thinking the D-cell or DJ Safety one would be better for the off road than the rage or hans

Have you tested your roof lights for reflection on the hood? That setup usually causes a lot of glare.

Fast you guys have really put a remarkable truck together and sounds like you have mastered the plan on Support from companies, and have a plan to get to the races so congrats on a long build and an exciting 2012. Hope to see you guys out there I know you will be but not so sure about myself. Now go get it dirty.

I'm just a little confused, what is the point of running 12 connectors on the break panel? That is just a huge pain in the ass to remove the panel, I don't see the prupose in not running a larger pin conector and using maybe 1,2 or even 3 total conectors.

that be cool man, I wasnt really interested in the hans just cause of my bad shoulder, I was looking at the Rage or the D-Cell. Is the rage uncomfortable with the hard part between you and your seat and going through the desert?

I explained this I had the connectors already and I didnt want to spend 300 to buy 3 connectors from pro wire, if I would of known about the 22 pin weather pack I would of got those. Next one we do will go that route, its really not that big of a PITA, everything is labeled and staggered and its not like if your doing electrical fix during a race, that your trying to do it super fast like changing a tire. The min or two I save I am fine loosing that over paying $300

Keith, I see here you mentioned banner holders. If you're ever in the need for professionally printed banners, EZ-Up's, etc. my fiance works at EZ-Up and can get great deals on all the professional grade shelters, banners, flags, and whatever else. It's a great way to advertise for your sponsors and for your team.

Actually were in the market right now for a custom ez-up cover... i was going to have my neighbor make the two banners I want (one for the company & one for the 2012 season sponsors) he charges like $3-4 a square foot. PM me some contact info, if the price is right and can get it made before Redline ill pick it up now, otherwise will have to be in Feb so we have it for the MINT..... thanks

UPS just showed up i got my second set of yukon stuff, no harness.. emailed vision x, got tracking number. Its in phoenix (came from vegas, yet phoenix is farther from here then vegas lol) and we will not get it till tuesday. I thought it got shipped the thurs/fri before xmas but somehow didnt go out till the 28th. That really sucks, I really should of counted correctly, when I had them send the missing ones last month. I thought we had 5 and needed 3 but we had 4. So not sure what we are going to do, either start on fabricating the rest of the things or go ahead and complete the wiring and just run an extra wire when it gets here.

yeah I am either getting the AR-10 from ORW or the top BR-1 from UPR only 20.00 difference and one has free shipping so its like same price

    will do

yeah i know, but our paint job is flat but we are going to take the truck to behind kmart and test out the lights

that be cool man, I wasnt really interested in the hans just cause of my bad shoulder, I was looking at the Rage or the D-Cell. Is the rage uncomfortable with the hard part between you and your seat and going through the desert?

thanks man, soon will be out there together, hope things work out with the motor

The br-1 is the helmet with the movable air ports right?

you know you have 1 wire to run, run it and get everything else done.

the rear trans fans make this whistling siren type sound... the horn is loud, the radiator fans are powerful, pumpers are all good, both fuel pumps work, no breakers popped, all the gauges were reading good, the temperature ones will get a more accurate result once we test and heat the truck up... very happy, for being a carpenter by trade, I am amazed by this truck and safe to say that my dad is not only a carpenter but a decent fabricator and great all around. The feat of having to wiring an entire truck up and having it all work on first try and look good is a great feeling, and I am very thankful. Best xmas gift, now just need to fix some things on fab side and install a couple things and were ready to hit dirt. Shooting for next weekend, I will be gone sun-tues though so may not be till the following mid week.
