hey guys I got lots of our photos and dvd camcorder and tape camcorder and front and rear gopros, plus the 26 pronto pics to go through and upload and make a video. They should be up next week. We are still looking for the best picture posted to give a hat and shirt to. I am really looking for the start of the 4th lap when i launched into the short course and almost went over the berm from going to fast and jumping into the short course. Also looking for day 2 dyke jump footage.

We had so much fun, met a lot of great people.

Congrats! Glad you FINALLY made it out and did well to boot! Gotta say, I really didn't like your attitude earlier in the thread but I know you've made an effort to correct that. Hats off to you for getting it "done" and in the dirt. Good luck with the rest of the season dude!

P.s. - Nice air in the first shot above

    thanks.

What I am thinking about doing is either starting a new thread for race photos or just for this race, or opening a new photo storage account like imageshack since I have photobucket. uploading every picture raw and leaving it public for people to go look at and copy if they want. If I do that I will just post a couple of the edited pics on here and just give the link for the other 60+ pictures. For the videos I will probably post them on my youtube channel unedited and post the complete edited one on here. I need to figure out how to get my brothers fiance dvd to work on my computer. She has a sony camcorder with the little disc, she finalized it and it plays in a dvd player but when i put in my computer it says it cant open the files. There is footage of lots of trucks on that, then on my old camcorder that used little tapes (that i would plug camcorder directly into a tv and record on to a dvd or vhs) it has footagew from the hot pits as well as 95% of the ceremony, tape ran out less than 10 min before the end. So those last two i need to figure out how to get on computer and online, the gopros and camera videos are not a problem.

well I was going to start a new thread for photos of race decided not to. All the unedited files uploaded to that link. I began editing photos, started with the professional pronto pics. I tried stitching (since i have several sequence shots) and i group one shot. I tried out the adobe premier, need more practice before posting a video. Here is the photos I edited. I did not do all the proton pics but did do most of them, cant wait to get the sequences stitch together.

the photo I tried grouping, on the 4th lap I jumped this big no luck finding a picture of it

    dyke jump sequences

step up turn, first lao was the only lap i didnt jump it

    infield shots, whoop sequence

Looks great. I think you literally have the most stickers I have ever seen on a truck before. Are you really sponsored by every single one of those companies?

    hey Keith.

how well does a single sheer on the knuckle work? im setting my = length up and am going back and forth about whether or not to weld to the cast...

Its work so far. When I build a custom knuckle so I can run bigger brakes I will double shear it. As far as doing it to the cast I wont. Jeremy did it for bigger brakes and the weld continues to crack and need to be welded over but the cast is fine underneath the weld

So how did the race go man? 20 posts about whether or not to start a new thread for yoru pictures, but no excitment about the actual race? It's your first race, how did you feel? what happened? what was cool, what sucked? This whole damn thread is so weird!

yea i could go back and call everyone out, about never hitting dirt and things not working. Like there were a few people that said first time that cab got any stress you would see spider cracks all over the scoops and visors cause of the bondo... not one single crack, I took pictures. the only thing that didnt hold up on this truck were the rear bedside mount tabs, the full plate one by the wheel well was the only thing that kept them on. Once all the weight from the mud got on them those little dimpled and moon shape tabs broke, not at the weld though. So were replacing both of those on each side with the full plates and then were adding one on top in the back like we have on the front, and going to add one on top in the middle off the spare tire mount. the mud gets caked on underneath and its a lot of weight. The bedliner spray did its job though no spider cracks.

Actually entire body looks great only part that got chewed up was the front of the bedsides from the front tires. lots of white spots from chips in the paint. In most of my pictures you cant see any of the sponsors in the black area except for back of bedside.

The bedliner spray did its job though no spider cracks.

wait til you actually do a full desert race. I know you dont believe me now, but Primm graded course is nothing compared to running a full race out in barstow, plaster city or anywhere else, where you have whoops for miles instead of a couple rutted corners.

What are you trying to say though? I did go around the barstow lap and like I said it was gnarly but I didnt have my hybrid and collar at time. Im excited for the big mile races were finishing is more important then horsepower. If there is a.better or new part available to fix what happened in trans you can bet ill be getting it. Other than that will be ready .

I need to contact hdra and find out how the rules for fixing broken things during a race.
