Default FAST-Fabrication class 7 unlimited build

Ok so some of you probably saw my thread in the dr rides section "My B4000 converted to a Ranger" I had put an extended kit on it.

Well a lot has happened the truck will now be a full blown race truck, I am acquiring sponsors and support from major companies in the industry.

JSI Motorsports owner Josh Sims built some of the cage the rest was done by Fast Industries. Front suspension is a threat boxed d44 kit with x over steer, rear is a GMR fully boxed 50" race links with a GMR custom 3.5" 250 wall 9" housing fully trussed and set up for 3 link.

    FK Rod Ends all around,

I will get pics and more info up tomorrow.

If you need any info on these products you can reach

Jason owner of GMR at gmachineracing.com

i don't know why it be the dezert rangers race truck..... it has nothing to do with camburg..... lol you can call it the 1armed raced truck lol........ as far as pics ill bring som pics over from my other thread... as far as my sponsors products, i can only add pics off their website until next sat when I actually get the product, they actually have to get it cut and welded, so that is why there are no pics, and you can believe what you want, ask the owners of the shops.

if any of you are looking at getting a housing the gmr housing is remarkable and very affordable, plus Jason will help you with anything you don't understand...he also makes it to where you can get it al right off his sight. As for the race links, the time and geometry that went into these are unbelievable. the shocks are mounted farther down the arm, allowing for a 16 and 18 bypass with a 5 degree inset, will probably strap it at 26"

The two weeks after the 10th will bring lots of pics and info. as the front and rear go on

Because it's sponsored by a number of the site sponsors. It doesn't have to be camburg. Anyways, plans sound good.

here are some pics moved over and off the companys website... next weekend have actual pics.... trying to decide between glass black powdercoat or clear to let the burn marks show through

the gmr 9" ( mine will be fully trussed across and tab for 3 link)

    the race links

threat new boxed equal length d44 kit, with the boxed radius arms

here are pics of truck... we had to stop movement on the back half since we switchout the 4 link and junkyard 9" for the GMR product, so mostly just cab and few other things for now.

I like how you are using a subframe under the rocker panel, I did my cage this way and it seems to work out very nice. How is the tube tied into the frame at the back of the cab with the links?

I am debating putting a newer ford 4.0 motor in now or waiting and going to a v8, I hear lots of people running the 4.0 sohc

now I know I will be over the score track width, but I am looking into all the leagues I can race

Im just concerned with the future plans of a v8 etc. And tommy's toyota weighed in almost at 4,k so I think it would be better to be safe than sorry. Its easy to pull the cage out now since its only in the cab.

just seems like more work and more money but then again its not my truck. i run 1 and 3/4 in my truck. hell we even got 1404 score taged with 1 and 1/2 and let me tell you that thing is way heavier than tommy's truck.

Also when they weight them it's dry weight, no spares, fuel or anything, it's stupid, just keep the 1 3/4" my truck weighed 4200lbs with a full 32 gal of gas, 2 35" spares and all my tools.

never raced but been to races..even went to the old mickey thompson stadium races as a kid..yea def going to start going to them and getting more info on rules and fees, been doing that online last two days..i have all the races on my calender for score, bitd, more, mdr, sxs, tuff, havent done snore yet..am i missing any?

i dont see us doing score next year except for maybe baja, just cause the fees compared to the other ones, unless I hot a big sponsor to cover race fees....

I am thinking More, MDR and BITD or 2 out of thos 3, but I have to discuss it with my co-driver and my sponsors...

btw 85yota.. do I know you... cause I never seen your truck in santa maria
