    Default Complete Silverado Build Up

Well the time has come to start a thread on my build up. Started out with an '02 Sierra ext. cab turned "'06 Silverado" with Mazzulla long travel, King 2.5 10" coilover and triple bypass up front with a 1 1/2" mild steel engine cage and 1 3/4" front bumper. Out back had a Deaver F87 pack with King 3.0 16" triple bypasses. Glassworks glass up front, cut and pulled bedsides out back. Had the stock 4.8 with 4.56 gears and a locker in the rear end. 17" American Racing Crater wheels wrapped in a fresh set of 37" Projects.

That description sounds like a pretty set up truck. Haha. But if you know me, then you know i cant leave things alone. And theres always room for improvement. And also one major reason for all this is because I was backed into by a 25' box truck which bent my front bumper and ultimately ended up cracking and tearing my engine cage.

    So plans now,
Full 2" DOM cage front to back.
Brand new Mazzulla kit up front.
    Kings all the way around.
Bed cage, incorporating dual spares, fuel cell, jack, coolers ect.
Full custom interior including aluminum dash with all new instruments.
Havent decided which power plant to go with yet.
Custom engine cage with core support.
Full frame plating front to back.

    Well here goes.

    Starting point.

if you go a real one piece, it depends on the brand, but most of them take hours and hours to trim to fit perfect. One brand, i think its trailer products, their one piece i hear mounts up almost perfect. but one pieces are pretty tough to get perfect. I would recommend getting glassworks fenders with a glassworks hood. it looks badass!! ill try to find a pic of it.

Heres a pic of a truck i did with the glassworks fenders and hood.

It's a silvy. But it's a 2000. I converted it with just the headlights, grille, and headlight mounting brackets. Paid $150 for everything.

the trailer products glass is no where near close to fitting the best one to get is the boneyard fab one its the only one really specifically made for an 03-05 silverado

Correct. My mistake. The boneyard one is the one that fits near perfect. Thanks for the correction.
