hahaha im just joking but the kit is $200 from being payed off so next week ill be hopefully picking it up. got my bender all mounted and built a few bumpers and whatnot so as soon as the kit is all welded up ill start some tubework on the truck.

on a serious note,giant is done and just waiting for me to pick
up the kit. im starting a new job thats at $14.50 and hour so i could have it all rolling and rocking by thanksgiving. prolly wount be caged but ill dial my shocks and front bypass's in glamis

Ok so I got my bender pretty much down and learning how to get everything fitted up right and tight...First major thing I'm gonna be doing is my motor cage. Now I've got ALOT of questions for you bender pros when the time cones.




UPDATE,
picking up the kit hopefully withing the next few days/week. It's all done and just needs to be welded up and installed. Pretty stoked and can't wait.

Aha damn it Andrew,shhhh lol but yea I havnt touched the truck in prolly about 3 weeks cause no time or money but I just started a new job as a weldershand making $14.50 an hour. Progress should pick up soon getting a $549 dollar check every Friday

got all the heims and spacers on the way also.

got some mock up heims so im gonna start trimming all the plate and start welding it all up

well,ive gotton it pretty much all tacked up and now just moving everything around to get all the proper clearence. im confused on a few things. ive got the crossmember in and its super close to the sterring pitman arm and im afraid my steering with hit the beam before it will even bump.

hey man thanks alot,i hope it gets done soon lol

your drivers beam mount is too far foward. break the tacks and slide it back. you may have to grind the mount a little bit to get the proper clearance

ok that was my plan,will that clear the passenger beam then? cause im running stock ranger steering for now until i get my swinger and pitman arm from geoff when i get the cash.

There not really no need for plateing the frame. But however I'll be plateing where the tubes will be from the motorcage.

Not needed IMO, you're better off using the plate for gusseting, if the tubes intersect the side of the frame.

i've started to run into problems,ive talked to Geoff and hes explained it all to me and i understand what he saying but i have trimmed and trimmed the crossmember but if i push the passenger side beam pivot(drivers side beam) any more forward then my steering isnt gonna work.



im guessing my radius arms are gonna be different lenghts?cause one beam is farther then the other. im almost willing to drive to who ever has an i-beamed yota just to see what the hell im doing wrong. i wish geoff had a phone so i could send him the pics and show him lol

heres a pic to explain,this is the bottom of the oil pan is the tube gonna be diagnal or is it gonna be at an angle to the pan?

i think your thinking of your beams running accrost your frame when they really run diagonal. the drivers beam runs backwards and the passanger runs forward. you will adjust the radius arms accordingly. that why they have heims homies

thats kinda what i was thinking, thats why i said they arent going to be inline.
