Thread: 97' Baby blue build

So after i totalled my 98' ranger (RIP) I picked this one up from a buddy of mine. Here are the specs on it as i bought it.

1997 Ranger 2.3L 2wd: 5.5 extended beams (Cast beams i might add....greg) Fabtech 5.5 coils, 33x12.50 BFG's on Eagle Alloys, 4:11 gears in the stock axle, BBR bumpers, Black headlight housings, HID headlights, Flowmaster 40 series muffler, K&N FIPK cold air intake, Front glass painted to match, and cut and pulled bedsides.

Short term goals (hope to have all done before 2010)

4.5 extended FORGED beams
14x2.5 FOA coilovers w/ engine cage
Heimed Radius arms
Glassworks Bedsides
2.5 or 2.0 Bumpstops (if im lucky ill have this done before 2010)
F23 Deavers (Off of my old truck)

i didnt even read the info just saw the truck and wasl ike wow thats just like greg's truck haha. its a nice truck. realy clean

I totalled my gold truck August 10th on my way home from work this lady pulled out in front of me and just stopped and i hit her going 35mph.

And yeah, greg and i didnt know that the truck had cast beams lol. Guess i should have actually looked and done my homework first. I should be switching out the beams next week or so.

And next week im going down to the junkyard to get all my parts off my old truck, so if anyone needs some parts, im going to have a shit ton of them lol

i got first dips on parts that will fit my truck, since my ass will be talking half of them off

btw how much was your bumper i like it

Lol yeah jeff you can have first dibs on what ever parts you need but i doubt you will need anything off my truck, maybe my rims you would want but thats about it lol.

Umm i think the bumper from Ross was around 500 or so, talk to Ross (Burdom13) and see if he can work something out with yout.

I am really digging the truck man. Looks super clean!

oo and i didnt mean to sound like an asshole but i hate when people make useless quotes, esp when asking a dumb question.

HELL YEAH that trip was fun!!! to answer ?s the headlight housing was like $140 on ebay i believe, the HIDS inside were $65 off ebay and i dont wanna say price for the bumper. pm if your actually interested

Update:

Went down to the yard where my old truck is at and me and jeff took my parts off the back half of my truck (Bedsides, deavers, shocks, bed cage, and front glass) and we put the deavers from my old truck onto my new one along with the camburg shock mounts. It lifted the back end like 3 inches haha.

Picked up these after selling almost all my old parts.
14" 2.5 King coil overs with eibach coils. Going to pick up some stock forged beams tommorow night and give them to brandon to cut and extend in a couple weeks.

Dirty ass shocks with SPARKLING stickers??? sneaky sneaky haha

a basic black projector housing.

lance- TAG BACK =D shocks soon. so u can save for parts.
