Got the Momo in the mail today. Not bad for 150 bux. I just ordered a Sweet Mfg. Quick release setup for the beast also.
Gonna be ordering a Icomm 2100 radio in the next day or so as well as interior goodies. Should see major progress on the truck by memorila day weekend. I htink i might have to miss the shootout to make it to the Jump Champs.

Ya, you should check it out. *It looks A LOT different now, than it did a month or two ago
dear mr. richer, let's hear some spec on what is next for the red machine? are you going out to the shoot out? lat Whitey.
What up Whitey!!!!! *Unfotrunately I won't be able to make it out to the shootout. *The truck should be back and running towards the end of June. *I won't have much time to work on it in May due to work on customers trucks. *I can't really disclose any info about the specs, it'll have to be a surprise * Feel free to stop by the shop and check it out if you want.
How come you're not coming out to the shootout? I thought you'd be there for sure.

A few updates pics on Jeremys truck before we went testing. Here's the plate the fuel cell sits on that keeps it from moving around. It uses all the buzz words ... plate .... dimple dies ... cutouts.

New updates on the car. If I get my Walker Evan's wheels by next friday it'll be somewhat done on the fabrication work for now. Starting on the dash right now and just need to do all the aluminum work, firewall, floor, and skidplates.

full floating rear : axle construction which relieves the wheel shafts of cornering forces as well as the weight of the vehicle, so that it only has to cope with the torque from the rear differential. It also means the wheel shafts can be removed without removing the wheels.

Thanks guys for the complements, i'll keep you guys updated and our test times as well and make a trip out of it.

As far as the motor and tranny goes, right now I am going with a type 1 2386cc with a single weber 48 IDF, dynoed around 165-170hp and an 091 built transmission. I need to learn to drive the car with the hp and as much travel it has before I go any faster.

In the off season a type 4 2900cc fuel injected motor and a Mendeola S4 will be dropped in, already being worked on.

Good choice Ryan still be sure to stop by our pit at the MORE race. We are switching to a 2900cc type 4 also. We are already injected and have one of those Mendeolas I forgot wich one it was. Trust me with that big type 4 u are gonna haul ass!

Dave, I am going with a Fire Engine Red, as bright as I can get it with a Metallic gray striping like the color of my chevy. We might end up going to a corvette body and leaving the one shown for driving around town lol testing, and long runs.

I will stop by for sure at the MORE race Ryan, looking forward to it. the 2900cc type 4 is a bitchen motor, enough top end a low end torque to throw you back in your seat. With fuel injection you'll get a tad over 300hp, plenty for a car weighing 2500lbs. lol

Chassis is going to be left bare and needs to be, because once a year the chassis needs to be magnifluxed to check for cracks, as well as every other race the spindles, arms(front and rear) will be done.

What I mean by next friday is everything will be done minus wiring, plumbing, paint, and full prep. Give me another 2-3 weeks for turn key ready to rock.

Updates on the blazer coming this week, had to pick up some bump cans tonight from Camburg, (they made them while I waited, you guys are awesome. ) and some Crow belts to hold me tight into my new Beard seats I ordered, no longer going with Sparcos. THANK YOU
