Sold my stock bumper to someone cause I was gonna have a front bumper fabbed that week. Friend calls me to go to Barstow next day. Went to Home Depot in the garden section, grabbed some mesh, ziptied it so no rocks would bust my radiator. Good to go for Bstow.

In Mexico with a built Tacoma, carrier bearing failed and we couldn't find anything to fix it. A sock, a tube of grease, zip ties and duct tape we made it back from rocky point to Az. Started at about a 30 mph pace which by the time we got home we were doing 70 with no vibration lol.

Same truck broke the lower arm bushing mount at Ocotillo, found some hillbilly to weld it up out there and I'm pretty sure the exact arm stayed on the truck for several months lol.

This is a dirt bike clutch lever. The cable frayed and broke by the little ball on the end that the lever normally holds onto.
Soooo my friend grabbed a pair of vise grips to hold the cable and of course used duct tape.

    Works great.

Only starting, stopping, cornering, steep hill climbs, steep down hills, riding in general.

    So like all the time.

Pictured is a 2-smoke. I ride a 4 stroker. Abused the clutch the same on my thumper as I did on my old 2 strokes. But this discussion is for the bike section. Lets try and keep this thread on track.

Well I dont consider it "fab" but Im sure you other rangers owners can relate to wrapping a tiedown around your center console after the thing flys open while your in the desert and stuff goes flying. Went from eh ill fix that later to.. eh its works fine now why fix it.
