Thread: ibeam ranger fabbing up some longer shock mounts help

I'm. Running 5 inch coils and I have 6 inch shocks and I want to fab Up some taller shock mounts . And I'm. Guunaa be useing stock style ( stud type ) shocks . I wannna see what u guys think about useing squarree tubeing and weld a 1/8 thicck top peiice aand put a hole on top for the shock . Maby if any one has done anything similar let us know Jose

just cut up some new tabs for it

Won't the llonger shocks help with geting a lill bit more travel?

Not if build taller tabs it just shortens it again

How big is the OG shock? a 6in shock seems small to me

Longer shocks ain't gonna do shit if the coils fully compress
