Not sure, I didnt looks for tags but I cant imagine the sickboi mobile had a HC tag.

Testing depends on the work done. Any triggerwork gets tested, new barrels same shit like that.

that's true, but at least i don't act all buddy buddy, then turn around and act like a dick. people in this industry are overcritical(especially homo's with lip peircings).my shit will get better with time.the only thing wrong with those shackles were some shitty looking welds.as for design, it out performed some four linked trucks. i know cause i passed two during the mdr race.

dam some1 got butt hurt fast, its the internet relax. as for design? there about as crappy as the welds. 9 inch shackles which is too long, then instead of making new 12 inch ones which is way to long, you just added to them. pretty hack if you ask me

    thats because you race superstition...

I hadnt seen the shackles up close until I walked outside this morning and saw em in the trash can at our house and thats exactly where they belong. Didnt see Matt attacking your character just saying the craftsmanship was poor and quite frankly it is. He Never said who made them either, you divulged that info so dont get butthurt, learn from it and lets see some more crap.

i said i'd forget about.and i never said the welds weren't shit.they are, strong but shitty looking.design is solid and would put it's handling characteristics against ANY leaf spring rearend.

Please. You don't think if Steve Looney raced his truck in the California Series he wouldn't win. No offense to Helton in any way, but a leaf spring truck won the series due to consistancy.Looney never missed a race and beat the class 1's for the overall win. Saying it's cause i race superstition series is weak. I would have rather had matt tell me he didn't want the shackles then to simply do what he did. I had a friend that wanted them, granted i would have cleaned them up(grinding and rewelding). Butt hurt, no. Pissed off, yes. I mean that is bullshit he's lucky i don't lump him up for lying to my face. It wasn't that he posted the shackles. Anonymus or not he lied and i can't Fucking stand that. I didn't ask him to apologize for posting it, but for lying.make your own judgements but i don't want anymore of this. The irony is when you sign up for this, it says "no putting people down, this is for sharing and chatting." I was unaware it was highschool.

my point is that total chaos has figured out how to make leaf spring handle very well. i hung those at a downward angle(similar to those) above the frame rail off the roll cage. replicates the same geometry. Matt understands 12" or 14" shackles are not to long. my brother had a toyota we built with 14" shackles and it was smooth through the whoops. thanks for the visual Matt.

who the fuck are you?? post up some of your bitchin fab skills or shut up.

...landing gear: your shackles are ugly, but, thanks for clarifying that they were hung down, from (I assume) fairly high up off the cage...the overall Idea is a good one...I thnk the downward hanging shackle is easier to work with than the upward ones typically on a ranger w/ deavers.

If you had put a cool little diamond shaped plate over the butt-weld, or if they were dimple died, everyone on here would love 'em!

Had a friend do something like that way back when. His brother was under it when it shifted while putting on the front springs. Dropped down part way. His brother ended up with his head between the engine and tranny. Luckily it got hung up the way it did or the brother would have become part of the lift. His face was flush white when we got him out from under it.

My dads friend lost an eye and half his scull while working under an 8-ton work truck. he's VERY lucky to be alive, yet alone walking, talking, and eating on his own.... and he was using jackstands, one bent and broke.. and the truck fell on him. he almost made it out from under the truck, but he saved his son first.

the little 1/2" trailer hitch support got him from his ear to his nose.. his face was stuck under the truck.. his son called 911 and while jacking the truck back up, his body went up with the truck..

DONT MESS AROUND WHILE UNDER A TRUCK... You can never be to safe..
