yeah i met the guy once in oco b/c my buddy was datin his sister at the time, and in fairness that f1 does have a front to rear cage, cab cage is ok(as in holdup to A rollover) and the dude built it when he was like 15.
but given his situation (giant garage and mass tools) i would would have built something else already and pretended like i never built that hahah
or i would have just gotten way spoiled by drivin his dads tt ls buggy lol

My old bedcage.. Not sure if I posted pics of it or not.

Lastly, gotta love the mid-bed mounted spare tires.. And the longbed fenders on a shortbed truck. Not to mention stock beams with coilovers up front. Although i will say the front worked pretty good for never making any valving changes and having a really crappy shock angle.

This is what the truck looked like when we got home from this trip.. 3rd trip out with the truck.

    Take a closer look Rubbertoe.

And I knew it was a hackjob, but it had good parts, just about brand new tires, good seats, all fiberglass, fresh paint, fresh motor, etc.

im pretty sure baja shop didnt build the rear of the truck could be mistaken but
1- they dont mount glass like that
2- they have/had one of the best welders ive ever seen working there
3- they are not big fans of single sheer anything(unless double sheer isnt possible or needed
i could be mistaken but thats my 2 cents

I can tell you 100% Baja shop didn't build that rear bed cage. It was actually cut off a rolled ranger and "welded" on your truck by a friend of mine a LONG time ago(also where the long bed bedsides came from). Oh and that "rear" bumper was originally a front bumper, LOL. A hole lot of hack work there......

I don't think he ever implied BS built that. Just that it was hack. Now for some of us who have been around for a while those 2 go hand in hand, BUT those of us who have been around for a while also know something THAT hack wouldn't come out of there...

LMFAO I KNEW my truck had two front bumpers! Lol Did it come off a Baja bug? It looks like it could have bolted to a VW style beam front end.

This is the engine cage that came in the truck i bought, on like the 3rd small desert test just going through woops and after an hour drive home i took the clip off and saw that is was cracked almost all the way around a weld...turns out that the welds were grinded down to almost no weld and was then painted to look good so we had to throw some fatty beads over it to keep it together for the moment lol

Horsepower is how fast you hit a wall. Torque is how far you move a wall.
