He has some buddies on here, Same truck that is in this link Opinion of rear shackle pivot I am sure I know the guy that was with him but I am unsure, I just know who he is I do not hang out with him. Built a few trucks, Rhinos, and Rails in Yuma. His family also owns a autobody shop, I am so unsure why he has screws holding his Glass together.. Anyways he has a few friends on here who will chime in I am sure, Also he is on here I believe

how do you get a new truck and fuck it up that bad? god damn, i'm only an e-fabber and could put the fenders on better than that only using stuff found at home depot. i wish you got a pic of that production front kit...
I'd love a pic of the whole truck. I like the custom cuts in the glass and the fact that it probably was put together with parts from home depot. How creative! And the wood bed is great idea for firewood when he breaks down in the dunes bro.

Pro-Touring Full Floater Expert!
Is he building his upper in two pieces connected only by the uniball bolt? Or is that an illusion?
Cause it sure looks like he only has one side connected, and based on the rest of the work I wouldn't be surprised if he didnt connect them.

That is a brand new 2011 6.2l Chevy....He was sure to brag about that when I saw him at ORBS in Yuma one day before he built it.... He was knockin my JD kit before I got the Blitz Spindles for my 4x4....Seemed kinda arrogant. He was at a meet here in Yuma I didnt pay attention to it. I would give him props for half assed trying if he had a better attitude. Then again its hard to over look the fiberglass fender screwed on to the stock fender. Good luck with that.

now i want the guy to come on here...
Duche Bag Fab? Kinda catchy ha, some peoples kids I swear!

When the pics of the shackle mount showed up a bunch of people defended them with the excuse that it wasn't done yet- where are those people now?
I don't understand why people are bad mouthing the plywood. It's kinda strange on a truck that cost that much, but form follows function, its job is to be a flat surface and it looks like it does it's job.
My best guess on the fenders is that he was trying to copy that first Baja Edition F-150, didn't it have glass glued over the stock fenders? Maybe that was the bed only.

Chiming in on my friends chevy. First off the screws are there because hes going to mold the fiberglass. I dont think anybody would actually mount fenders like that, lol... He just doesn't have the time to finish it because he works his ass off. I understand its soooo easy to judge an unfinished truck. The plywood was just to transport stuff for the race, I assume. It wasn't there today. Lastly the Deavers are a C-85 pack which i believe are indeed a spring under kit, and the shackles work well with the pack. However Nolan, im surprised at you. Greg gives Dillon credit and actually tells us not to listen to these type of people. its strange you'd have a different outlook than him. I think you just misinterpreted what he was saying. Although he doesn't recall ever speaking to you. Is there anything i missed?

The shackles are something new. They will work how they are. Now how long they last is another question. But an easy fix would be to run a tube in the back side and wrap it around to the frame. Or off the top. Just needs another tie in. But I like the idea. Just seems like a learning curve he will find out. Hopefully the easy way when he looks his truck over after every trip and crack check and not the hard way with it failing.
Plywood, this I can fully understand. He may not be done with the bed design so why do threw all the work of sheetmetal and all that if you are still thinking of changing stuff.
The fenders, I have no idea.
That's fine him doing it himself. But guess what, doing it right the first time saves a ton of money. And I will be more then happy to tell you about guys who built trucks on a budget that would take more of a beating and handle better then this thing. But guess what, they asked questions, researched, and where very humble when learning and building. And being young and having that truck puts him in the rich category in my book. I don't know how you grew up.
Hey at least he is doing the three wheel in a safe way. Instead of hauling ass around a turn and trying to roll over. Oh wait, that comment will make me very unpopular here on DR. Oh well.
Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered automatic weapons.
I still don't understand how screws are going to help him make a mold? Is he going to copy someones glass and sell it as his? That's a great way to do business. Also if he is so busy why didn't he just get bolt on fenders and mount those? Or just not run fenders. Glass is the cheapest part of that whole truck and simplest thing to do. Once you start taking short cuts, no matter how small they seem, then you start having major issues with the whole truck working right.
I don't think anybody was knocking the shackles but they were knocking the shackle mounts. A lot of force is going to be put thru those mounts.

He needs to humble himself if he wants to advance in this sport. The dude that posted it originaly picked up the same arrogance. Which is the MAIN thing I am pointing out. And you know if Greg saw those wood screws holding on the front fenders on he would DEFINATELY be giving Dillon shit. Im hardly ever on this site how do you think I found out someone posted his truck on here? That is all.
