I cant tell if the ranger in the link has any crappy fab work done on it. Never the less, it seems as if it is linked with a stock ranger rear end. Most people start with a cage and front end, this guy's on a whole different page. 2.3l?

if you have to paint your fiberglass, you didnt plan your truck very well. buy a white truck and the fiberglass is already the right color.

says hes in bakersfield? but ive never seen that pile of shit. i mean we do have some hack shit up here and i love to find it so i can make fun of them but ive never seen it.
its all these stupid shops opening up people from drag race and circle track opening up. sure they can weld some what, but they do not know the first thing about geometry. one kid i work with spent 10grand to buy a weld tec kit and have it installed. its only sapose to pull 17-18 with ac box removed. the installer claimed 20 with it still in. i was like ok wtf ever dood ur cool peace out. then the kid said it had to much bumpstear so he took it back in. the dumb fucker moved the upper arm mounts forward so the spindals now set 90 degrees took out all the anti dive and the wheel will not return its self. i told the kid hes dumb as fuck but its your money have fun taking it up the ass. then this fabricator told me their is no way in hell toyota deaver 62s will work on a ranger.....well we all know i figured out how to do it and pull big numbers. that cock sucker heard that and they mounted stock chevy 62s from a junk yard on this kids ranger and kept it spring over and are claiming 22" with out the fucking cross brace cllearanced for the drive line.

sorry about the rant i just see this shit poping up in this town. their used to be alot of funtional trucks here and very little hack shit...(small town) now its death traps and every one with a usable truck hides it so they dont get roped in to the fuck head catigory they rest of the low lifes started.

Exclamation point and laugh eerrrrr at ME!!!

i'n not a great welder by any means but can actually get a pretty decent beaddone with my crappy little cambell hausfeld 110 flux core box(hey it was free) the bolt with the nut welded to it was rounded off, it was a LBJ bolt where it attaches to the spindle, fuck it worked hard to get the gun up in there

the galvanized pipe withe the square washer was an adapter to press out the ubj's from the spindles and it also worked went with the point shoot hold breath and burn method here

feels good to brinng this thread back to the top! now who wants a cheap roll cage LOL

OK, you can come over and check out my work now.

Seriously though, if you want I will let you try out my Hobart 180 on some scrap tube/steel I have.

I think a nice straight filet weld will help you get it down. tube is a lot more difficult IMO

shit, you probably live like 2 minutes from me.

good i hope they do. just more of a reason this sport is starting to get a bad name. between hack fab shops and huge companys with morons who seen a truck in a magazine becoming fabers it may go back to the roots and be more of a underground thing again.

Didn't koop fab build that one white ranger edge though? I always thought that ranger looked awesome. If they didn't build tat suspension, I know they built the bed cage and that light rack, and front bumper. Anyway does anyone know which truck I'm thinking about? It's owned by a guy named Jason I think.
Truck is gone, I miss it every day.

Found this in the RDC classifieds. Not entirely certain what all is going one here, but the ad. said it was a 4" extended swing arm for a Honda 50. Looks like he re-used the tubing from a garden awning or something, but still didn't have the budget for some spray-paint to cover it up

fyi i just got info that the white truck that is from sd and from bako is getting confused for koops work. koops work is uncompairable to the white link stock ranger. koops fab is solid work. the issue with the weld tec kit was not a fab issue on his behalf. its what had to be done for the kit to work.

that is straight from the horses mouth.

also him shuting down was a 3rd party hear say it was origanaly just moving of the shop.

sorry if people got confused or had second thoughts about his work. i jumped the gun on a insatll and it turned out the kid of the truck was just running his mouth and was making koop look bad.
