Nothing super crazy latelty. But my free tires from Partybarge should have been tossed when I got them home, so it was time for some new tires....larger of course.

30x9.50x15's on a car....haha
Trimmed 1'' so far, but needs to go all the way to the door. Then I need to pinch back and weld up the seams.

this is probably a dumb question...but that looks like chip foose in the D90...is it?
if you feel the urge to buy a jeep and want it to actually work buy a landcruiser
Sometimes life gets in the way of stuff and things. But I have the internet again, and Im back!
I have a few updates. First off I finally painted the roof rack and laid 3 pieces of .125 alum in as the floor. I dont have a decent pic.
Second I had to remove the rear lift blocks that dropped down the rear swing arm bar. There was too much play in the old rubber bushings (that was in all the wrong places from the factory) and running with the rear welded finally tore the lift blocks out of the unibody. So I welded that bitch in solid. Solid mounted the rear diff too.

And now its back under the knife
I decided to tear it down to bare bones and start the swap. I have everything from a 2001 Impreza RS going in her. Includes motor, radiator, hvac, chassis harness, switches and buttons, guage cluster, steering column and some stuff Im forgeting. Heres the driving force behind all this.
2.5 litres of fury!
Gutted and a little cutting to fit the new 2001 hvac unit
new unit....hehe
mount for new fuse block off 2001 Impreza harness
filled in hole
laying in new harness
harness and hvac
old dash fits in over new hvac
more fitting of the harness
harness fitment through firewall

Found this pic from Big Bear new years day 2011. Sad thing is I was stuck. But only because the little old tired motor couldn't spin the tires through 8'' of fricken snow....lame. New motor is 165hp and 165tq!

Parked next to you at wall mart months ago. Looks good. I had an 80's volvo station wagon that I ran Ford F150 coils on. My moms property was 2 tiered and I would Launch it up the hill. It ended up looking like a banana. Got it for free and it was just there for when we had parties. It was a blast.
