yeah, bigger pictures might help. those are too small, i cant even see them!
Drove it home exactly like it looked in that pic, passenger side in the dirt, tire rubbing the wheel well, didn't break 25 the entire 5 mile trip home either. Had a friend chasing behind me in his Camry (also got jumped there) with his flashers on, we would pull off to the side and let cars pass too.....that tire would hook real bad when we'd hit the dirt shoulder though. All in all, quite the adventure between jumping, breaking, and limping home.
resize the dam pics your fuckin up the page..

The picture from the Petersons 4Wheel Drive article on various suspension set ups. Yes that Avy WAS 4 wheel drive.
Here is the article, gives you an idea how old this front end is and how well its held up to my total abuse. Ill just say 80k miles of hard use on this front end and only had the heims recently replaced.

Oh and a pic of the front IFS suspension.
16 inches of travel. That front end has stood up since it was built in 2002 and has over 80k miles on it. I just decided to get more travel and go into 2wheel drive territory.

that's right co2 foot print is zero. i think i need to make it taller. its sitting a little close to bump.
but the 4' chain saw that i used to cut down a 68" dia. redwood is another story well you decide what is Eco friendly.
but keep the sick non Eco friendly 4x4 coming.
My ranger and my brothers t100 out at pismo, both will be 4x4 again once we get the $$$ for our extended axles.

it looks trussed so that helps some..
Not worried about the axle tubing persay, D30s have a reputation of blowing up u-joints, then again there are great D30 kits out there now for alloy axle shafts. The diff internals break on occasion too but his tire size shouldnt cause that. Just U-joints or even worse if its a CV and hasnt been switched over to U-joints.

Yeah I ran a tube under the axle that ties into the knuckles and the center section. I also made some knuckle "C" gussets. I beat that thing like a redheaded step child and it just takes it. I donnot jump in 4wd though because yes the D30 is not my best friend.
Overall its not as good as the yoda but it I jumped it one day, drove around 100 miles the next just looking at shit, and towed my trailer with a 3.4(toyota doner) goin 85+ the day after that so yeah I like it.
Dana 30s are fine, been beating the hell out of mine since the day i bought it 4 years ago. i'm more worried about my dana 35 and that hasn't blown yet either.
Yeah D30's>D35's thats for sure. Jeep D35s will blow up driving around town lol.
That porsche CV is on the inside is beautiful but the outter CVs are what always blew up on mine. Any issues at full turn or droop with it yet? Or the devil Full turn and droop! ACK
