My pops truck.. There's alot more too it then meets the eye.

At 4WOR's cheap truck challenge. Did the Miller Jeep trail in 2wd. Had to get towed behind their yellow Ultimate adventure chevy for quite a ways. I got to drive that truck too..

Now more recently, with 35"s, new front end with disk's, Detroit, etc. Truck has roughly 350+hp 351 Cleveland, with a NP431 4-speed and a 205 case. Dana 44 front, Dana 60 rear. 35"s, Warn 9000xp winch that goes into the reciever F/R, James Duff coils up front meant for a early bronco(super cushy ride), Homebuilt reversible tiregate for spare tire, soon to have 10" Kings up front, possibly Ginat 64"s out back, Cage, etc etc.

    And his desktop background:

"Better to stand there quietly and have people question if you're a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt."
"Imagination is more important then knowledge." Knowledge is limited to what we already know and understand, Imagination is limitless."
Wanted: 2.5" or 3.0" Saw shocks. New, used, smoothies or bypasses I don't care. PM me.

what year was the unibody? they only made it one year right? and never 4x4 i thought? buddy of mine has a 65 4x4 with service bed and a 427 side oiler in it, awsome truck.

'63 I believe.. And yeah, never made as a 4x4. They said the unibody couldn't handle the abuse a 4x4 would see off-road. It's on a 66 (I think?) Chassis, which is actually unique to it's year. They only made this chassis 1 year, and it's an oddball but alot of stuff from both the previous and following years fit it. It's definitely a unique truck, and gets slot of looks wherever it goes.

My old '85 Yota 4x4, thing was a pile but was my first truck. I paid too much, it didn't run good, drive good, or even sit on the street good. Then I got my '88 2wd and didn't feel like sinking a ton of money into the big goofy truck any more. Sold it to some Mexican guy that drove it an hour down the freeway to LA, more balls than I ever had, I was too scared to take that thing on the freeway let alone break 55!

Oh, and the only vid we made of it in the year and a half of owning it: messing around at a local field in 2wd with my friend's turbo bug along for the fun, it was pretty goofy but was my first time offroading and I thought I was cool.

BTW, same hill we were playing around on, is the same one that I broke the 2wd '88 Yota going mega huck!
