Well we did it again. After a very successful season we pulled off the MDR 1450 Class title again and even did it with "The Piece"! Thanks to Dan Vance for sharing the driving duties with me this season again and we were able to claim back to back titles! Thanks to all the DNF Crew who we could not have done it without:

ESB Mike, Dan V, Corey, Gregg, Ashley, Pat Kapko, Chris, Sam, Kevin, Ryan, Kristen, and everyone else who has helped us through out this great season!!
Also thanks to Greg Gagnon for valving the shocks all year and they worked great!!!
Special thanks to my Grandpa because without his help this year we would not have been racing!

Here is the story from the final race of the season:

Well we actually prepped the truck pretty good this time and it paid off! Got to Barstow Fri afternoon and preran 3 miles and found a rolled truck so we called it in and helped them flip it back over and stuff, by then it was getting dark so we decided not to prerun since we know the course pretty good from last times.

Started 3rd from the rear out of 16 entered with Uncle Bob right in front of us Dan driving and me Co-Driving, the plan was to just stay with him for a while and cruise. We caught upto Jeremy 1461 around mile 8 and gave him a few welcome to racing nerfs and took out his bedside in the process lol by pit C we passed everyone except Uncle Bob who was 15 seconds ahead of us and Torian who was ahead on the course but we had him by 10seconds on corrected time. We then just stayed in the same place behind UB for the 2nd lap.

At the start of the 3rd lap we did a Driver/Co-driver change I took over the wheel and ESB Mike hopped in to co-drive. Thanks to all the DNF crew guys who had a awesome pit time of 1min 30sec flat!! You guys rock! Uncle Bob came into his pit and we got out before he did so now we were 2nd on course and didnt know if we had Torian on time. By pit B we had passed Torian but didnt see him when we did, so then he came up behind us and we had some of the coolest racing ever! From mile 20-end of race we were back and forth it was real fun. We were not pushing the truck that hard because we knew we had him on a lot of time now and just stuck with him. I let him pass on the 4th lap around mile 20 and just stayed back about 1/2 mile or so. Came through pit C and we were 2 min behind him so we stepped it up to make sure we would be in the 3min we had on him. Came flying into the finish and found out we finished 1min after he did but had him on corrected time! But great racing Matt!!

Thanks to 1490 for making the season interesting down to the last race! Couldnt have asked for more!!
Great year and next year were not sure what we are doing yet but probley not racing all season, gona mix it up a little!

That thumbs up I gave you when I was pulling into Camburg's pit after the race was for you winning, I dont think you knew that though.

Good job on the season and the championship. Now we're never going to hear Dan stop talking shit....and spreading rumors that gets people beat up....

Congrats on the win, we had a blast just chilin' and freezing with you's guys.

90 seconds isn't bad, considering nothing was broken. It was pretty funny when the guy chicking the lugs on the LF was like "Hey there's a broken stud" apparently he didn't understand that he was in the presence of the Piece...

yeah. the piece hasnt grown his 6th stud back on the LF wheel yet. everyone knows the piece is self-regenerative right? just gotta let it sit long enough and it just fixes itself lol
