My closest guess would be because he wasnt running a 9" rear....probably stock. Because them damn toyoter frames are wider than Rangers so inside the frame rails is where some people have to run em in that situation.

Then I could just be talking out my ass

3-Link rear nets just over 30" of wheel travel.

The BK fabworks yota is actually done sorta like that, just not as extreme as helton drew. They said it reduced body roll like this, just an unusual way of doing it, and it works really well, as you can tell.....

There is no reason, the reasoning behind it is because they cannot clear the frame rails running the shocks on the outside of the yota frames, so they have to run em' inside. I guess you could put the shocks on the inside of the ranger frame...wouldnt work well.

im pretty sure the didnt run it outside on the bk due to width specifications from score. in order to place the c/o's outside the frame rails, they would have to run a wider rear end which would probably be too wide to stay within score regulations, or too wide as compared to the front (78'' wide)
