Since I deal with Titan owners all day, everyday, and have two of my own to deal with, the rear axle thing is no longer a point to worry about. Seems some of the first models had a lack of gear oil and that caused the diffs to grenade. I tow with mine at least once a week (over 7000# quite often) and have had no problems at all. The front rotors were an issue, but they got that fixed...finally. And the price point is about 10% lower than the competition. but if your in the market for a new truck, go test drive them both. Nothing wrong with the f150, especially if you dont mind getting passed all the time. for all the info you'd ever want on these trucks go to titantalk.com or titanspot.com.

that was taken at the loop. It has a cst long travel, coilover and bypass, rear has deavers and triple bypass. 44 gallon fuelsafe. The front works great but the back works like shit. it is getting a fourlink in a couple weeks.

Those are 37's. The motor is really strong in this truck. I am still running the stock rearend and have not felt underpowered. I have had mild headwork, it also has headers, not cats and dual 3". I can post a few pics tomorrow at work.

It has 37's. The cst kit has been out for about maybe about 5 or more months. I will be selling the kit on my truck in a month or two.

Travel on that CST kit is 14". They are around $4000 without shocks or springs. Who did the head work? The spare motor we have has great heads and the limits are the intake and exhaust. The heads are actually one of the best production heads out there. What headers are you running? the JBA's without the cats? Have you seen the new ones from Mossy? Lets see some more detailed pics of that truck. The Deavers you have are really stiff and you need to add ALOT more weight to get them to work right. And maybe have the rear shocks valved. how long have the rotors lasted runnign 37's? Thats a cool truck and one of about 5 trucks running that kit.

Race prep did the headwork but i would suggest going with a company called replica machinen. I am running the jba headers, and have not seen the mossy. My titan is th 2004, it has 25,000 miles and have the original brakes on it and they are fine. The problem with the CST kit, and it might just be how it was installed is that my tires are wearing so bad up front because they are angled so far in at the top at ride height. I only have 3,000 miles on these tires and the fronts are almost bald starting 4" in on the inside of the tire and going out. I am going to have to take the upper arms off and add heims. I dont think the kit was designed like this. I also need to add bumpstops because it put holes in my wheel wells were the bolts on the upper arm spindle went through.

if you were to buy a new truck buy a titan. they are much faster than a f150. i work for titan-offroad and that red one is our race truck. we will soon have a website up with donahoe coilovers, deaver springs and rear shock options, shackles, exhaust systems that come through the body for sale. we are working with donahoe and greg gagnon to produce some pretty badass stuff.

i was thinking the same thing desert silverado. haha

as far as prerunners, id have to say they are one of the best looking trucks out there when built right. likewise, they are few and far between which makes them even cooler.
