Anyone ever race BITD? just wondering if my 1.75" cage will pass. I'm sure there rule book says "SEE SCORE RULEBOOK" just wondering how strict they are.

bitd has there own rule book and it doesnt have the new minimum roll cage rules such as bitd. so 1.75 is fine as long as it meets the other requirements

I race Stock Full in BITD. It's a great sanction and I can't say enough about Casey Folks and how well he runs his organization. The people he has working the races always do an outstanding job and the courses are marked incredibly well.

Are you going to race Vegas to Reno?

Right on......If you see me out there, don't hesitate to stop by.

    I co-drive for Dave Turner Motorsports, # 8107

...and remember Tyler, chasing a BITD race is very different than an MDR or SCORE race. Your chase crew cannot just trek across the desert to come get you or give you spare parts. Prep your truck with a lot of extra parts, tool, food, and water because you might be out in the middle of nowhere for quite awhile.

I was gonna try to shoot for the V2R, but i dont have enuff guys to help chase. there are remote pits that you cant make it to before the race truck. no leapfroggin. i'd feel more comfortable doin the Nevada 1000 since its spread out, over a few days, just rather expensive. good luck tyler! tell us wat the deal is?!?!

on topic, i called casey, well emailed him, and he called me back 15min later. told him i wanted to race 7open(swift and rosseslar aint got shit on me! haha jk) and he called me, ran me through the stuff, everything should pass, and i have a 1.5" mild cage. as long as it has corner gussets and a few other small things(well not really, just regular safety requirments) you'll be able to race. i plan on doin the parker 400 and TT race. sportsman truck(ahaha they call it safari truck wtf?!?&#33 is only 15$ more than pro MDR entry fee...

Either way, good luck Sean. I'll cheer you on no matter which class you race. I am a fan.
