lol thats why i need 12" glass, but ya, i live a 1/4 mile from work. i dont drive far....plus iam getting a full size soon, so this truck will be race only....ya i know its too wide, next year iam going to get new spindles to narrow the track width to 87" and full floater to narrow the rear to 85"....and yes i do fit in a lane hahah right now it sits 93.5 in the front and 93" in the rear...

that front clip is wider then the tundra clip by about 2 inches on either side and its still way out in teh front and as for the back good luck finding fendres for that.
im also curious to know if any one knows the driver. not becasue i want to father his children like the post starter but curious to how much bump steer that front end has. and how much travel it pulls.

actually that clip is about 5" flare per side, not sure what the tundra is? bump steer is not that bad, the arms r only 6.5" over 1 more inch then the esb kit, what happened was i sold the esb kit with spindles before they took specs on my stock spindles, they made the spindles which ext. another 3.5" per side loli said leave it for the time being, until i get new ones...cycles 21.5 metal to metal, limited to 17" of travel with a 10" c/o, i could get more with a 12" c/o...but 17" is way more then enough....i do have a 12" bypass though...this is my truck, a few people on here know me....i was going to race last years plaster cities Dash, but my boss had cancer so i had to work, iam an asst. manager i had no choice, work pays the bills for the truck....iam plan on racing some races next year, MDR paster city and CODE in mexico, the racing 905 has a class 5 and class 7 that race code and r building a Class 7 open tacoma to race also...they r going to be my chase team and pit crew....iam just waiting for a few more things and my dad to finish the custom trailor.....iam goin to proctor valley soon to test it, i know i need my shocks revalved and heavier coils in the rear....i will be at gordons on newyears weekend.....i know its wide but well see how it handles....

Block your ears kyle when the snowplow came out it will never work. What is that huge chunk of metal on the bottom it will never work. Why is your track width 88". Way too wide. Well im racing with a few of them HAHA. the rest just drive theres on the street and beat it to hell in oco where its sooooo rough. HAHA. Just get that thing out and be careful get all those bugs out of it before you run it extremely hard. Your gonna need more motor to push that suspension i can tell you already. Glad the rear end came out waaaaaaaaaaay better then that last POS. Im sure your happy now. You better be coming out with us now no more excuses. Yours should way outhandle mine.

All but one due to both rear leafs snapping the front wrap. Im used to crap so no worries haha. Im sure kyle will get his fair share haha. But so far I have never had a single fabbed suspension part fail. same arms and lower BJ's since day one. but for sure it will never work. Wait til next season. Oh yeah and i drove to each race and drove it home even when i DNF'ed i just made a choice to stop because if the rear end slipped back i could cause shocks damage and driveshaft and all sorts of good stuff. only had 38 miles left grrr. This was my first year and since the first race its a whole new truck. You will seee next season.

Would you please post any pictures you have of the cagework? I'm really close to getting a cage done on mine but I can't see how it will fit without having to limbo in and out of the driver's seat. Even after pulling the dash & headliner it seems like the A-pillar and the D-side roof bars make it a bitch to get in and out.

    thanks.

just a quick curiosity..... how does your tire cycle in the rear that far out of the fenderwell? it seems like it would just collide with the bedside. and if it just doesnt go up that far then umm.... well i dunno what to say. personally when doing a link you should go for as much uptravel as possible. when i set up a rear suspension, i grind the top of the fender lip off, and set full bump to where the tires skimming the very top of the bedside. uptravel is the absolute key to the rear suspension working properly.

your right mike, thats why i need custom glass or that 12" flare f-150 glass....my tires stick out about 8" per side....and yes as it sits i have 14" up travel and 12" down, i can always limit the down travel....i wanted more up travel anyways, i had 12" before, now its 14" look at the pro trucks, they have 15" up front, 10 up and 5 down, in the rear they have 15" up and 5" down i think..... we cut the glass a little bit just so the tires dont rub too bad....if i jumped my truck the fenders would blow right off the truck...hmmm that would be a cool video hahahah
anyways iam looking at the trailor products 12" f-150 glass, custom fit it with my tacoma tail lights, and cut and trim down what i need...

when you do this setup, do you droop out one side and bump the other since it seems like the outside of the tire would go up farther than in both sides are bumped evenly. or does that never happen when racing/mobbing. Thanks.

Why not just get the 12" F1 glass and get the F1 lights, insted of spending all that time making the tacoma lights fit??

i say just angle the bedsides out in the back.

or how about this... get the tundra conversion long-bed bedsides, and trim them so they "wrap" around the back of the cab a little, with them angled, and you can get a fer more inches without it looking silly.

on dans truck we angled the back out about 5" per side to accomodate the wider rear end and the uptravel. personally i dont see the sense in mounting fiberglass in a "collison zone" of the tire, as its just going to break it eventually, and then you destroyed the bedsides just from normal use.
