This is my ranger I had right before I bought my 99 4x4 that I have now. I just took of the mid travel suspension I had on it, and had just detailed it out and parked it by my girlfriends house for sale. It got plowed by a drunk driver and insurance only gave me 300 dollars for it. The truck was in excellent shape and ran great it was shame to see it get destroyed.

This is another one of my rangers I had a few years ago. On that day I learned a few things 1.you need bump stops on all trucks. 2.you need limit straps on most trucks. 3.jumping a skyjacker lift with a 8 inch lift coil and 2 inch coil spacers with 35 inch tires with no limit straps or bump stops is fun, until the coil binds cause of no bump stop and then breaks the coil bucket and then you're coil shoots out because there is nothing holding it in. 4.trying to work on a truck in the sand at pismo really does suck.

On 12-15-07 some guys in the San Diego area went to the Otay truck trail this is what happened to the one truck. The guy is on here I cant remember his name I think what happened is the threads in his lower ball joint stripped or something.

Just running around moderately out in Cuddeback and there were some inevitable holes that I think may have been the end of my shock. The kind of holes that are like "Oh shit, this is going to suck" because there is nothing you can do...lol it seems like it was bent a little and then one of the hits just snapped it.

That shock is(was) mounted in the stock location on the driver side.

The block (passenger side) had a small crack, but was holding. it finally let go.

He doesn't have an edge, which has the stiff-ass leafs in back.
Damn things are so stiff, they probably transfer most of the energy into the frame, causing it to crack like that.

Softer leafs before hitting the ruff stuff is a must.

this happened over 3 years ago in front of my house, drunk chick took a corner WAAAAAAAAAAY to fast and totalled my 94 K5 Blazer!

yeah, the frame is supposed to be straight there!

moved it like 12 feet into the neighbors car...

driver door wouldn't close at the top or bottom, and couldn't even get the passenger door open!

notice the crease between the door and back window and the bulge under the back window

Yah, that's totally it. It definitely wasn't because the radius arm snapped in half at the beam mount, as evidenced by the radius arm being snapped in half at the beam mount in the picture. Notice the bump stop hovering over empty air?
