yep. bent the shit outa the bolt and ripped the 3/16th plate. also dug into the spindle pretty good and opened up the lower hole on the spindle

sounds and looks like the bolt was loose. sucks.

naaa the bolts still tight.. the ball broke the cup and pushed through the top. ill snap some pics when i take it apart

Dang you broke the main leaf haha. How did you not hear that driving around? When my leaf broke on my tacoma it sounded like somone was hitting a metal garbage can with a baseball bat.

From what I hear, the turn was not marked very well and 5+ vehicles ended up blowing through it and rolling. Mini graveyard.

i really dont get why people keep saying this... that turn was marked with plenty of skull/crossbones on the GPS as well as a 90degree turn on the GPS map, and not only that i think i counted 4 danger signs, and left hand turn signs far enough behind the turn to slow yourself down. every lap we went by there was new cars there. i understand if your following in the dust and cant see the signs on the trail, but what about the GPS....

I get what you are saying. Like I said, it's just what I hear. Many people have stated that dust was a big issue so I would assume that was it more than anything. Probably a lot of co-dawgs not paying close enough attention to their GPS's.

I heard someone said theres an incar video of the crash anyone have it?

not really carnage. but dont know exactly how this happened. and its not falkens fault, i think its driver error. i accidently burped the throttle on a rock on a hill climb with 40psi in the tires and i think it did this.




so i had to rock the spare (E load as well) bfg.

and then got a new tire free of charge from discount tire. and that is the only wheel weight on the wheel. its tiny. all my tires are like that but one.

yeah the nuts weren't pre loaded properly and somewhere between Michigan and here it started eating itself. i had to replace the rotor for him too it started cutting into the caliper ears on the knuckle. pretty big fucking mess. the inner bearing was completely gone.

no problem. but i have a warranty and might as well use it. also some steal was showing threw some of the deeper cuts.

So did the rubber split or something?

I dont get what we are looking at????

the lines in the thread. corners of the lugs missing and a slice on the sidewall.

both rears on my yota looks way worse then that. the ones on my DD ranger are almost as bad.

Oh shit, that sounds shitty. I should probably check mine out when I get it running again. I used the cheapest wheel bearings o'reilly sells lol

Pulled this thing in and didn't even know there was a brake problem until replacing a hub seal. Freight liner chassis bus.... Crazy thing is both sides are equally jacked and came in after hauling passengers!
