I like 11/14. Weather should be cool, plenty of time to get ready, and one week after the MDR race so those of us racing don't have an excuse (like prep and what not). Either way I will be there!

i voted for oct 24th.. only because i have heard people use the exuse they were just there the weekend before for a race so they dont want to go back... But i am trying to do the easiest for everyone. So vote and lets get this ball rolling.

Ah crap I take it back! 10/24 would be great as well. Right after the Expo. If we pass out flyers again people might come out the next weekend. Too many choices!

yay!!!! i'm sooo excited for this again... i voted for nov 14th... october is usually sooooo busy expo... powder puff and the wall race is usually the last weekend in sept which makes 3 weekends in a row of off-road related events.... that can get pricy and with it being in nov... pass flyers @ the expo and give people the time to plan it out

adam if theres anything i can help with let me know!!

I'm down for Oct. 24th. Nov. 14th is too close to the 1000 since I might be working it this year. Easier for me to spread out my need for babysitters lol even though I'll most likely bring Ryder to the clean up again, he loved it last time!

Doesn't really matter, I'll be there one way or another, but 10/24 should be pretty much perfect.

Sept. 5th would be WAAAAY too hot....

Looks like Oct. 24th and Nov. 14th are leading the list, and those are definitely the best 2 days....I'm just going to keep both days open this year....haha

i want to do the rides in race trucks again.... If i do it though we will raffle those off. After about 10 laps and 4+ hours in my truck last year. i was worn out. lol

If we can get enough trucks then hell yea we are doing it.

I think we also need to raffle off who sits at the ant hill this year during the rides........

Yea this year i need to put in a little more thought to the rides... Last year i kinda winged it... and it took its toll on everyone.

NO DRIVING RACE VEHICLES BEFORE THE RIDES. lol I think we broke about 6 vehicles before they could even give rides that weekend. lol

I'll be there, whichever date it ends up being.

I think the rides portion went rather well last time. Course seemed to be fun, a little bit of everything, waiver was signed, everyone got a ride. I don't think you can ask for much more. Maybe have it take place over a longer period of time, giving the drivers a break.

The only thing that needs to be worked on, is more bins. We all know we could probably have filled 20 of those, and everyone had the drive it seemed, to go on all day.

I voted 11/14 but 10/24 will work also. I should be able to make this one cause this won't interfere with the rally schedule.

October 24 will be awesome, I have high hopes for this one to be as fun as the last one, hopefully our airfilter/ mass airflow sensor doesn't rip out in the college hills again lol, good times.

okay so i have spoken with the BLM and they are onboard again this year... However the dates are sorta up in the air... I have a choice of two...

    1. Oct 24th. Weekend before halloween/ drive clean-up in plaster city. also weekend of el mirage clean-up.

    2. nov 14th weekend after mdr north race and weekend before baja 1000.

I want to draw as many people as possible, without having peopel miss it because of thier plans either weekends before or weekends after. What do you guys think? i am on the fence with this one.

You would probably get more people to show up if it was on the 24th. Seeing as the 1000 is so close to the 14th.

i think it would be good on the nov 14th weekend. Further away from halloween and would be good to do a clean up after a race out there. I know I would most likely be able to make the 14th but definitly not the 24th. I know a lot of people go to the 1000 and all, but for those of us that cant make it to the 1000 this is a good alt. the weekend before to get out

I think either weekend is good, but I'm starting to think October will be better for me, I'm probably not doing the motor swap and it will give me more time to get ready for the Glen Helen race...also the weekend before the 1000 might be tough for some...either way I'll be out there though!

its hard... i know people racing mdr wont want to go back out the weekend after they race. and people will not want to go the weekend before halloween... and we will loose people to the 1000.... hmmmm

What if we did it on the 24th and did a pre halloween party at night? everyone dresses up in costume?

Adam, I am tenatively racing the 7th and I would still come out the next weekend. In fact I raced last weekend and will be at the MORE race this weekend! October is a busy month already and I dont personally know anyone going to the 1000. But I will be there either way. Let me know if you want help with anything this year. And if you do it in October yes you should have a halloween party the night before!
