Nothing crazy this time bolt on parts either Giant or camburg depending what way I want to go?? Rear is going to be a Giant 64 spring pack for sure with a simple clean bed cage and maybe a BMS or camburg flanged axel..

Scott, have you seen that truck's green brother? Lots more pics, plenty of detail shots from bare frame all the way to roller. It's going to be equivalent to the Wilson's truck when it's done, full interior, built V8, etc., etc. Awesome to drool over in person. Eddie there are two S.I. Built rangers running around with 37"s that I know of. One the wilsons own and the other I am not sure who owns it. It was for sale on rdc awhile back. There is also a "DD" white version that was also for sale awhile back. Basically the same as the wilsons but with 35"s, no cage with stock interior and no v8. Super clean truck though. I Msg'd the guy when it was for sale and he sent me a bunch pics I'll post. They are on my other comp. Then there is the drywall guys ranger, and a few others. That green truck is going to be amazing once completed.

im 90 percent sure the wilsons isnt an si built one. they were saying it was built by a guy out of big bear and his neighboor and he got in an arguement and was killed by the neighboor.

It sure looms like S.I. Build style. Swingers look the same, the miter cut at the back if the cab is similar, and the whole simple look and stance of the truck. Who knows though.

The Wilson's truck is in fact the "drywl gy" truck. Built by Plank/SI. Kevin, the white DD truck you're talking about was built by Newline, like Gabe Lara's blue ranger, same build style/crafstmanship/attention to detail. Tom and Nestor have the same jigs from the Plank days, and build bolt on kits like that white DD ranger. Was the other SI truck you're talking about blue by any chance? I remember seeing it on RDC, and Camburg bought it to build a pre-runner out of. They were selling all the susp. off of it in the RDC classifieds. There's also the OTHER white truck that Kibbetech finished, which came out bitchin' as well.... They get hard to keep track of, lol.

Jeepspeed - I think the man you're referring to would be Nye Frank? The basic story sounds similar, but he did not build this truck.

Hey man happen to have any pics of how your spare is mounted? Like underneath the tire? I'm thinking of building something similar to your rear bumper.

Yeah. Plank taught Newline/SI/a few others how to build stuff.. And you can tell. They all build things basically the same. Lucky bastards... Lol
I forgot about the 'Burgs new toy, but no that isn't the one I'm talking about. It was a tan cab with white fenders, Robbys rims, 37"s, etc. It was for sale probably 4+ years ago? I have a picture saved somewhere..

Either way I'd love to have a truck built by any of them. Since I can't afford that, I'm building my own half-a$$ed version

I know which one you're talking about, I think it was for sale again not too long ago out here in the valley. And yours is coming along pretty damn good man! That's the difference between rushing and slapping it together and taking your time to make sure it comes out right, and the way you want it, and it shows in yours. I'll have to trade you rides when it's done, or next time we're both out in the dirt again.

Which one is that? Any pics of it? I know the "money pit" has been back there, that one had a newline front end on it, don't know if it still does though, and the rest is BMS built.

Yea Ill try and dig some up it was a shitty design though, I wouldn't have built it that way. It broke off with some heavy nerfing from a toyota =( in oco. at 1 in the morning and couldn't find it, it had a brand new bfg on it too. Oh well doing duel stand ups instead to get some weight back there. The whole truck Should be getting some goodies here real soon.
