Aaron from Dixon suggested g50e for my ST and I bought them. I'm picking them up Monday but wont know how well they work till I install it.

I think I remember hearing that the G50E is slightly longer than just the G50 pack, so maybe that's what they're talking about? Don't quote me on that though.

Anyone know where I can get front axles for the dbr kit? Aaron won't have any for some time and I just want to have my truck 4x4 ready.

No. He said I could but he doesn't even know when he would get axles. He just asked me to email him every other month to see if he got a set

That's a good price. I got my 02 for 9 grand. It was fully loaded: 4x4, leather int, sunroof, poineer sound with only 43,000 miles. Good deal I'm my opinion.

i'd say if you have the option and the funds to get a 4x4 to jump on it. you never know when it can come in handy, and a 4x4 runner is just way more trick than a 2wd built the same.

The 4WD works very well, I went to visit the family last month and took my '04 ST to northern Cali. I drove it around in the snow and mud w/ stock all season tires and made it up a snow/mud covered hill no problem. Definitely could use a locker in the rear, but does suprisingly well IMO. Also need to lose that horrible front suspension(torsion).

I was thinking of jut getting a superlift with a body lift and call it good. It also would have saved me thousands of dollars but I know I would be happy and just hate the truck! But your ST looks good!

I have 55k on mine and right now it's having trouble getting to 3rd. Some times it's fine and other times it revs to 3,500 and then shifts. Gotta figure out the problem before it gets worse

Nice work on the new shackles Demo. I still haven't heard how you injured your sport trac? (in the picture of it loaded on the flatbed)

I just got my front axles and I plan to just extend the stock ones and see how they hold up. I don't expect them to last very long but for $140 they should do the trick.

Thx Casey. I posted the story on the carnage thread. Long story short my studs snapped right off when I was going to Gorman with a buddy and my brother. My tire passed me and and stopped 300 yds ahead of me. They snapped right at the axle l, lucky the spacers held on to the lug nut. When I installed the spacers I loc-tit them on and tighten the hell out on them.

My local junk yard is having a 50% off sale in 2 wks so I'll go pick up a pair(s) for dirt cheap. I hope this work b/c it's ridiculous.
