Greg and his wife looked great out there today! Trucks broken all over the track. We were the only ones in our class which was sad but we ran a great race. basically 1 hour 5 minute laps all day. Zac the car owner did throw down a 55 min lap at the end! My fastest lap was slowed by 1487 for 3 miles!!! and a motor that shut off for a minute. Otherwise the car had NO issues at all! We could have pushed it more but with no competition it was pointless to risk a DNF in a double points race. What a great weekend!

I'll post the video later in the week but we were behind you for about that long in the crappy rock section after mile 10. Our horn broke on lap 2 and you didn't seem to see us. I passed you in the bushes as soon as the course opened up (Green Baja Bug). No biggie, it's racing! I was bitching cause I wanted to beat my teamates time in the car, not because you slowed me down.

wanna5class5: gotcha. sorry about that, i always get over when I can, I didn't see ya. I had a motor gremlin pop up intermittently and kept getting hot in that section. I've been thinking I need a mirror for my co-driver, sounds like this proves that...

Anyone on here know the guys in the 1510 Toyota? Did they find their spare? I kinda sorta knocked it off when they wouldn't move over. Sucks if they lost it. Obviously I didn't intend to knock it off.

I can't decide what my favorite part of the weekend was; Winning, the wifey being in the truck, or MDR asking if I cut the course when I went over and asked for a time sheet before I left.

I kept hearing the MDR officials talking on the radio about you, trying to find out if you cut the course. they had the rovers out trying to watch you to see if you were. They came over the radio a few laps in and said he is not cutting the course he is just that fast!!!

Come on we had a 55 min lap in a 4 banger dune hopper full body baja bug! But thats awesome that MDR didn't believe your lap times!

lmao!!! thats freaking classic!! the part i like is his wife (my sister in law) was only 8mins or so off 2nd fast lap time with her 1st time driving the truck really especially in race conditions!! good job candace!

talked to them twice once when they were picking up the tools off the course and later after the race as far as i know they never found the tire

anyone go on race dezert yet.....im on the home page!!!! super stoked for that lol.

LMAO, that's funny. I am never going to listen to my brother again. I was going to take the left lane because it was an easier transition, he said to take the right and I listened to him. The right had a switch back and I was going WAAAAYYYYY too fast for it. Started swaping back and forth like crazy trying to not run over the bushes and shit. lol

Maybe next year, we'll see. Thank you!

hey brent no idea wat happened to your buddie but after waiting forever at mile 20 we desided to head back to your camp (got a flat on the way)no biggie lol. they said they had no clue so we went back up to the rock pile and about 30 min later he went by. then wen we left u were at camp so i take it he found you. if you ever need help chasing let mike or kacie know and we will run for you. was a hell of a race thanks to every one for the show!

This race was a super fun race for me. Although this season my motor has been a major problem child. Soon as I arrived it started acting up. I added fuel to her to get the fuel right. Motor was running great. I had a great first 25 miles. Then all hell broke loose and the motor was down about 100hp at least. I was hoping to give 1465 a run for his money but we couldn't even break 70 mph. We held a pretty good position till the last lap when our power steering pump broke a fitting. Cut the belt off and slowing brought her in. I had a good race and a great time.

I might be at the night race if I can get my engine sorted out by then.

I totally forgot another highlight of the race. When my wife was co-driving and we passed a baja bug she hit me and said slug bug! lmao

I think it was a spectator because it wasn't Zac's green bug.

Ultimate gayness!!! ALL 3 incar cameras did not work for this race!!!! My GoPro fell off as I turned to go to staging. lmfao. The 2 Chasecams didn't get anything either. 1, my dumbass didn't turn it on right. BUT, I turned it on after the pitstop on lap 2. So it SHOULD have gotten the last 2 laps. It got one friggin second!! WTF?! The other, I dunno, maybe the guy didn't turn it on right too. lol
