Anyone else heading up and braving the heat? Im gonna be codawging in the SAW 5 car since theyre borrowing my KC Pod light bar.

I will be there with my 5-1600 car, and I know there are a few AZ 1450 trucks making the long haul

I will be racing our 12 car. Looks like 3 laps for us and I will be driving the last 2 and qualifying on friday.

Yeah I picked up Pat's car, this will be my first desert race with it. Should be a good time, see you out there.

Any 1450'ers? We are thinking about racing this one if I can get the truck prepped in time.

We have 3 1450 trucks from AZ coming. And 7 total 1450's entered so far. They say if we get 10 entries or more we will have qualifying instead of a draw!! Should be a great race from what I hear.

When and where is this race.

I am really bummed about driving all that way for two laps but Bill already said they were not going to change it for 1450 even though they did for Fish and those Trophy lite slow pokes! And before someone says "well enter HM" I dont find racing alone fun so we will race 1450 and have a blast even if its two laps. Plus if we get 10 entries we will qualify which will be more seat time and something cool ive never done

I would rather pay more but still race 1450 damn it!!! And I don't have a v8 so I guess I would have to race 7200??

I hear ya. That's a long haul for you guys. Ridgecrest is our shortest drive of the year. All the other BITD and SNORE races are in AZ or NV.

Pat is starting and I will finish. 1450 does less laps because it's a sportsman class, trophylite is a pro class and the entry fee is more. This is gonna be a fun race I love night racing!

P.s. Arizona sucks and CA will dominate!

SNORE along with the City of Ridgecrest is going to have pre race qualifying for ALL classes that reach a car count of 10 or more prior to the July 10th drawing. Qualifying will be held immediately after tech on Friday night at the Fairgrounds. It will be spectator, fan and family friendly on a 4 mile short course using part of the Motocross track. Automatic qualifying will be held for the 1’s & TT’s as a combined class with a prize of $2,000.00 for first place and the first starting position. Also 10’s & 12’s will be qualifying as a combined class. Combined classes will be for qualifying only. At this point 16’s, TL’s & 1450 will also be qualifying. These classes will be qualifying for clean air in their class along with entry fee credits to be announced soon. If your class is getting close to the 10 car count, please pre enter so we can provide the logistics needed to hold qualifying for your class, ,should you make 10. Please check the Midnight Special Entry List and Midnight Special Event Outline links for additional information.

Pro doesn't mean anything it has to do with the speed of the class. There are plenty of Pro classes (full fees) that are only doing 2 laps. 9, 5/16, 7s are perfect examples.

This year we are doing the Parker race in October and Rage at the River as well. I did the Mint 400 too. Last year all but one race was in NV or AZ though. See you out there!

Correct but there are no sportsman classes doing all the laps either.

Fish shut the hell up and do some bitching and get 1450 to do three laps! End of story!

If you guys can get most of the people in the class to agree to it and want to pay a full entry fee then im sure you can do it.

You probably will now. Pat just posted that the laps are now 56 miles and 4 laps for full lap classes and 3 for those that were doing 2.

Did you guys notice the course notes on the SNORE site. We will be racing on new terrain west of Trona Road and crossing it twice.

SNORE does rock !! best races around for a decent price. Best 1450 counts of any series and now we get to qualify!

Probably be one of the best TL races of the year! stacked! Fish whats laps are you doing?
