Thread: Return 2 The desert Sept.4

I know alot of you are running in lucerne soon but whos coming out to plaster city's 2nd night race. We are getting our tranny back from Culhane next week and all we have left is to install it. We completly torn down the rear end and had everything inspected which to our surpise everything was good (we only run 31 spline axles). Pulled the plugs on the motor they looked great. We had to do a little work to the upper link pivits but overall the truck looked real good from last race. Hopefully we a little time to get back to the dyno shop for a little more tweekin.

We are getting the truck ready now. Need to get our little 22re prepped with a new head. Should be a fun race!!

my friends with 1515 will be out there!...

in the last Night race they sheared the bolts on the flywheel/crank.... so the motor is currently out of the truck gettin a lil freshened up....

not sure what else is going to happen to the truck.. but 1515 will be out there for sure!

Do you need a head? If so let me know and if you want it ported I can do that for you just got done with my room mates 22re motor we waiting on the cam from Synder(sp?)

SOOOOO.......less then a month away whos racin???We got our truck all finished and ready to go....I hope.

Just a fresh up,It had been in for 5 races so with the big break in between races we figured it was a good idea.Culhane said it looked really good inside the trans and did not belive it had 5 races on it so just a soft part rebuild and we ae good to go.

It was noted on RDC that this particular race has been cancelled. BLM has NOT stopped issuing permits. Just yesterday MORE's permit was confirmed for the upcoming race on September 11th and DRIVE confirmed their race September 17th. Hope everything can get worked out with MDR too.

How closely are MDR north and south tied together business wise? MDR may not being doing anything until they work out there legal issues.

MDR is all one.

I can foresee MDR going away. They are going to be tied up in legal issues for a good couple years.

As of today the BLM suspended ALL of MDR's permits until they can complete their investigation. Could be a whille but who knows. IN my opinion their lack of communication of any kind is not helping matters either. Again this is my opinion only.
