    Default Bitd v2r

Anyone else going? Doubt anyone is racing it from here. Chasing for a guy soloing the whole race on a 950 KTM. Hopefully still get some TT and C1 action towards the end of the race.

We will have the 10 Car out there. Last year was cool with the 3 stage event. I've haven't done the one day event yet but looking forward to the race!

Truck is finally getting close to ready. We decided to back half the truck after the 500. Mostly because of a huge hit we took from a TT.

Leaving early tomorrow, hope to be at tech around noon or so. If you see the white F150 with boat seats and a blue umbrella say whats up.

Fun race for sure. Did the first half with three trucks chasing to every pit, then when we got to the top we split up. Went to Pit 14 "Rawhide" then straight to the finish after we watched the lead cars come through. Helped change a flat on Hoveys car. Our guy was killing it solo on the 950 til he got a flat and destroyed his back wheel after us. So we had to get BITD to bring him a spare which was quite an adventure from the sounds of it. Not sure how he placed. Only bitch was driving home from Reno today, time for some sleep.

Well we were running great all day until mile 420 were Gailey and Johnny hit a g-out with a cross cut g-out after it rolling the truck at 90 mph, Johnny was air lifted as a precaution to his back pain which was later found to be 3 cracked vertebrae, a cracked rib and a bruised lung. Gailey has some facial bruising but that's it, his side of the truck definitely took less of a beating. Big thanks to Geiser for building such a safe truck and to Mastercraft for keeping them safe in the truck!

It for the Jack system, you strap it to the upper arm and lift the on board jack to change the tire, there is also one in the rear that connects to the sway bar arm.

oh and I wish is was just cosmetic, the truck needs a lot of work, it hit really hard upside down, if you look close you can see that there's some stuff bent up.

Its very tempting to take a much needed break like weve been talking about and save up enough dinero to run this next year in Sportsman, just not sure if it would be behind the Mini 12 Momo or a pair of Renthals...

I saw the roll happen from Rawhide. It was gnarly to say the least. Good to know everyone is OK.
