And make sure you don't have any alcohol in the pits. Also no one under 18 in the pits. These rules are coming from BLM.

Thank you for being proactive on this Greg. I for one appreciate it. Honk as you go by the RX at MM25. I will be manning it as well as the FAIR pit there.

Looks like I won't be making it out for this one, still have no fuel filters and I've got the sand sports show the following weekend, going to relax and race go-karts instead.

Good luck Greg, throw down a little 1400 domination, and do some post-race plundering, just don't get caught with a bottle of grog in your pit.

I'm planning on being there, camped up on a hill overlooking the course and most likely away from people and attention. Just a nice relaxing weekend in the desert. Anyone that sees my POS black explorer is welcome to drop by!

I can't make the race this weekend, I hope you weren't counting on me being in one of the pits. I just have too much going on, I need to save some money right now and still have stuff I need to get done around the house. Let me know, hopefully this doesn't screw you up too bad...

Yeah, maybe, didn't think aboot that. I think, however, it would be good for them to see what the race vehicles have to go thru in order to be able to race. Not just show up and run what ya brung.

Mainly to save the course and lines in the GPS. I don't NEED to, it would just be easier on the 1st and 2nd laps. lol. I'm spoiled now. 153.155

Something happened with the Lucerne Valley HS deal not sure. The vendors won't comeout to SF for Tech/Contingency and the Fuel guys can't sell out there either. I'm sure you don't run race gas but probably 80% of the cars do. I agree it sucks but whatcha gonna do. I get to drive out there to get my wristband so I can volunteer. I'm sure an alternate location for Lucerne can be worked out with a little more time to plan for it.

For nate1435 - Slash X is private property so they can sell race fuel there

Or local enforcement did not want to deal with the media in town but would rather have them out in the middle of nowhere. Figure the locals would not be too happy with a bunch of vans parked everywhere. You figure the media guys will camp out where ever tech is for the whole race.

gay! why change those rules, prerunning had NOTHING to do with this accident. (not saying its BLMs fault)

on that note, im deffinitly leaving the yota behind. im borderline on not even going. are there speed limits if im on a bike on the course?

Those are the rules given to MORE from the BLM. The BLM is being heavily scrutinized on a Federal level as well for issuing permits for us to race. They need to appear to be in control of the situation, which is why all the new regulations, or the race privileges could be taken away by the Feds, nation wide. I'm sure there will be a heavy ranger/law enforcement presence as well as a lot of news media....so none of us needs to be "That Guy."

If you're not racing you don't need to worry about that rule. That's only for racers. They can't tell people what they can and can't do in an OHV area, outside of speed limits near camp sites/people. I wish I had a truck with out numbers on it. lol.

So much for doing my prerun lap to save the course in the GPS. You know, I almost said f@%# it, I'm not racing when I found out tech was at slash x. But my mind has been set on this for a while and I already have people planning to come out. Now this comes along...

No prerunning past 5pm thats pretty lame seeing how tech is 50 miles away their is no way i can show up early on friday morning prerun at 35mph that will take over 2 hours for one lap then pack up and haul ass to tech. Prerunning the course makes racing a lot safer dont they think before they make rules???
