Thread: Vorra Hawthorne 225

Vorra will be running its annual hawthorne 250 in hawthorne nevada on Labor day weekend. THe race will be 4 55 mile laps through awsome terrain.

Where is a good place to sit and watch the race from. I am driving up from Dayton about 2 hours away I wanted to camp out Sat. night to . Let me know if any one has any good spots. thanks

I personally have never been to the hawthorne race but this would be a good question for the vorra forums. www.vorra.net everyone on there is really helpful.

A great place will be in the first 20 miles. Deep sand whoops and switch backs. If your planning on doing this go out Saturday night and plan on being there to at least 8pm sunday night, vorra's course will be a closed in light of the MDR accident.
If you want to hang for just a few the first road crossing 2 miles from the start will be kinda cool too.
