Its a metal band on your driver side A pillar, with SNORE punched into it. Maybe Pat Dailey will chime in since hes a rep?

a v8 would be cool for the desert trips but idk, we'll see. and now seeing greg is talkign to juan, i think i will be talkign to super6!!!!!
I wouldn't if I were you. I had my heads done at Super6 and now going to pay Juanco to re-do them for the cam I bought. He's just going to have them ported bigger, not that Super6 did anything wrong. Super6 has no options for a cam anymore. It's hard to get a cam from one person and make it work with lash caps and shims with some head work and valves from another. Just kinda skecthy IMO. They both have pre set tolerances they take their work to, and to make them mesh is a pain.

I also never got this mythical SNORE tag you guys speak of...

they didnt have time to do them all at BAP. if your truck raced BAP, it is now grandfathered in.

i am up in the air on who i am going to have do it, just be warry of juan...

Ya Cliffs Ranger got a SNORE band put on a BAP but mine did not. Not sure why, but I guess being the very last car/truck to go through contingency/tech didn't help.

You could always put a TOYOTA motor in it Sean.... Ha! Let me hear it.

Sure the tag's was only for trucks that would have trouble not passing tech the next year if they where going to race again..

2 2.5lb extinguishers don't really do shit in a fire I have a 5lb on the back and a 2.5 in the cab, I wasted 4 2.5lb ones when my truck had a fire. I'd run atleast 2 in cab and 2 on the bed. It's a lot cheaper than a new truck...

You need one 2.5lb "ABC" in the cab and one 2.5 "ABC" on the rear of the truck. We run 3 inside and two out back as we have had a fire too

I never got tagged at bap either.

I would defiantly have super 6 build my motor intact they have built both of he motors we put in our class 7 trucks and they kick ass. Our original super 6 motor was a almost 300 HP v6 and is still currently running and kicking ass, it ran for 5 straight seasons of every mile of every score race, it is currently our back up motor, our new 400 HP motor they built is 3 years old and hasn't even had the valve covers off, this only 400 HP motor has no problems keeping up with the 4.5s and has 4 season points championships on it.

Yes In that last 3 years that we have had this motor in the truck I can think of at least 10 trucks with 4.5s racing in score and snore class 7 we have raced against

super six doesnt have much for the SOHC.

Gonna tear my car apart this weekend and see how much its gonna take to run this. I couldnt drive last year because my appendix was taken out a week prior, but all I heard was how much fun the course is from everyone in my car. Gonna race on the cheap and do the 6 AM Sportsman heat...

Who are you going to get the cams from for the next motor? Only reason I say don't go with Super6 is because they don't have anyone to get cams done for them. And sure you got a 300 and 400 HP motor, but they probably cost 13k for them to build.

Greg I can get you some wristbands. I run one of those independent rear end vehicles, I think theyre called dune hoppers? So Ill assume youll just stand around not knowing a CV from a linkpin LOL.

Im still working something out, but I got a PM on RDC from a fellow 12 racer that wants me to run in 12. So basically Im working on getting a sponsorship from the competition. Definitely a little shocked, but so, so stoked! Once its "inked" Ill post up but most likely will be running 12 after the TTs etc tear it up. It will be nice not staging at 5:45 so we can party like BAP LOL.

now Sean. I mean their times and finish rates at the races in baja alone give them credit. Even if there were others in the class, their times are still awesome, beating 6 trucks. And finishing almost every race if not every race is pretty damn good with those times

Bryan needs lots of entries if he wants to win the SNORE overall. He entered his brothers 12 car at the SNORE 250 and promptly pulled from the SF directly onto the trailer. I got a similar offer but was already racing so I declined.

Thanks guys for the wristband offers. I may have to withdraw my request though. After depositing my last check, I don't think I will have the money to go to this.

    I'll keep you posted.

finishing is finishing, nothign to do with their motor and super six etc, atleast to what we were talking about. prep, smarts, and luck will get you to the finish, not just $$ alone, which they definitly outdo any one of us posting right now.

Either way, good luck Sean. I'll cheer you on no matter which class you race. I am a fan.
