Some people have been asking about the 1500 class. We don't have a 1500 class right now. I decided to add a Leaf Sprung award and will list the leaf spring winners seperately. They will race in the 1450 class but will get a seperate award. We will take a serious look at the 1500 class before next year.

That is awesome Doug! I think this will be popular with the leaf spring guys whether you recognize the leaf springers in a seperate list or as the 1500 class, either way it brings excitement for us. Thank you!

Unfortunately I am in the same boat...perhaps by this time next year the truck will be ready to race again...no time and money to even prep it right now...

If i had a motor in my hand it would be done. he was having some clearance issues with the heads so they needed a little more machining.

    thinking about it...

    powderpuff is right before.

there doesnt seem to be much hype, how many 13mi laps?

with all the $$ up for grabs looks like itll be another sand bag competition like BAP, which was fine cause 7th place got all the glory.
When a man lives dangerous, he is not afraid to DIE. When he is not afraid to DIE, he is strangely, free to LIVE...

Either way, good luck Sean. I'll cheer you on no matter which class you race. I am a fan.

1450 guys get your truck out there it is free entry fee and a lot of good prize money! People that are entered tell your friends to race we want this to be a huge event, bigger than it already is, so get your butts in the garage and dust off your trucks and bring them out for a fun day of racing!!!!

Also I put up 100 bucks cash for the winner of 1450 and so did another fella. so your entry fee is covered and you could go home with 200 bucks cash in your pocket that is a 450 dollar swing here!

The 1450 class WILL race by themselves for this event due to the high number of entries in the class. Should be a fun time for everyone.

    Thanks guys and gals!

I volunteered a few times back when V4DR took care of the volunteering for MDR, and it was a pleasant experience, that's the only reason I would specifically choose DRIVE to volunteer with instead of just spectating.

I wonder if they will start us side by side due to the amount of entries.I think that would be fun but I guess it is more up to the BLM then DRIVE at this point.
