dude that was an awsome race! sal gomez (GFC 1413) took 4th but i think he took the championship!!! we're really excited for this truck as we got all the bugs fixed on it. also kudos to 1420, that was a knarly as jump you did at rm 21-22, sorry to see you break too.

There package deals are pretty good, think I'm gonna do the 5 8x12s for 75 so I can give some to my sponsors from the race. that makes them only 15 each

Yeah when we broke on the small loop I waited over 2 hours for a welder to get to me but when I finally got it I welded a few hunks of metal to the spindle and we finished all the laps except the last 15 miles, I was pretty bummed to get that close and not get a real finish but my dad drove great. He is getting alot better each race... As soon as we get some real shocks on the rear end (not just 8" 2.0s) I think we will be semi fast in 1300

Our 1300 car took 1st. That was its last race. It is going into retirement. 25 year old car.

Prep work starts getting hard since everything is getting old and fatigued. It has had a good share of DNF's sue to stuff like that. Who knows, maybe someone else on the team will take her over. The owner is stepping up to class 12 or 10.

Congrats on the win! Sucks to hear about retiring it though. Our car is a little over 30 years old but we cant get our hands on anything newer yet so we are going to try to get it to work haha

dam Matt u beat me too it, I can't believe how fast they got the results up. I didn't realize how close 4th was to me. That was a really close race.

yeah well all I can say is better luck next time. I got way to cautious after my flat tires.

haha yeah I was going to give you a love tap but I dont know you. haha lets hook up at the next race and chit chat. I am super pumped for January. I just got my currie 9 inch so I can finally get some real gears. Other then that the next mod is some new 3.0s for the rear. My rear shocks were done by the third lap. It was funny my co driver Tommy Trego was telling me to slow down and be patient that I will catch back up and yes I didnt listen and hit a huge rock trying to pass you. Lets battle it up next year! keep it up

What are the specs on you truck? posted anywhere?

I told my co-driver the same, if he wants to pass, I'll let him.. & he will most likely lose a tire... sure enough

its a burg built truck. 62s in the rear. Dana 35s up front with king coil triple and bypass, king bypasses in the rear. caged front to rear...thats about it. Ante-Morem I think I met you. Maybe it wasnt you.

Great time at the Barstow offroad race. Strong finish on a rough course. Two dead rims . But the race truck ran strong all day. The guys are doing a great job of prepping it. Low dark clouds all morning that blended with the dust made it kind of spooky. After race party....... firewood, fireworks and fire-water.

Trackside has photos up. They got some really good shots.
