thats what i heard...Pismo was evacuating people....just seemed weird that Sea of Cortez would be affected by it but like I said, thats what I heard

Haha that's funny! The race went down without any delay. We finished 16th overall and 11th in tt. Rob Mac and Justin Davis were hauling ass it was nuts. Mexico was awesome as well. Great food great weather and an awesome weekend all around

Nick Tonelli/Ben Wright, 1st place Sportsman Truck, with a finishing time of 7:03 hours. NO problems, ran a perfect race. Beating such people as Robby Gordon and the infamous Dan Chamlee. BOOYAAAA

Hahaha Congrats, we had a Shitty race we went to go do a final test night before the race and when we went to start the truck and the was a HUGE pop and the truck went straight to redline, we somehow had a backfire that blew up our intake manifold and had to jb weld the hell out of it to make it work. On top of that we were battling over heating issues all day, then at rm 135 we lost a radiator and cooling fan and I had to run from rm 55 to 135 to get him the parts then from rm 135 to 177 to get back off the course.

yeah i heard you had some problems, tuff break, but you kick everyones ass every year haha. I saw you cruising down to go through check 2 to get your dad when i was leaving up the graded roads back to Morrelia. SO TIRED, gotta sleep now

Shit happens and we were stoked to finish, we actually ended up battling it out pretty good with brandon Walsh towards the end after about 2 hours of downtime fixing the radiator and fan. His new truck is pretty fast and he finally finished a score race. Tonelli ended up passing me in the wash just after the silt around mile 75 or 80 I tried hanging with him for a while but he dusted me when it got rough. I think I ended up running into like 3 or 4 people from your team, even ran out of gas right in front of one of them at like mile 230 which was actually a good thing because the race truck went
by just after I got my truck running again.

Another Toyota, this time with the 4.0 instead of the 3.4 and instead of homemade a arms he has professionally built center pivoting a arms and much bigger shocks and a 9in now instead of the Toyota axle. He has been doing really well with the new truck he has got 2 2nd so far with it.

This was my first San Felipe trip. Went with the Tonelli's, my good buddy Paul, Johnerton and the Wright's. Was also my first time racing in a race truck. Raced from the start to rm 90 with Nick. Had no idea it would be nothing but 5' whoops the whole time lol but had an awesome time bumping and passing alot of trucks. Was a huge rush! I also learned that skulls and crossbones on the gps means fucked up shit ahead lol only took one to figure it out. To sum it up, it was one of the best times I've ever had with my good friends.

Ive got gopro footage of 99% of the racers who made it past RM30....give me a # and I'll post a vid. Also have a lil clip of this blue ranger...not on the track...just chilling and taking off around our camp

I got on board camera go pro footage of 99% of the race, there is like 2 hours of the truck sitting there waiting for parts so it ran out of memory at rm 230 ish now I just need to figure out how to edit it

Got any videos of 700?

saw your race truck roll by RM165 (baja fools), and then shortly after you went cruising by. i WOULDVE had go pro footage of you guys but the battery died, plus it was getting dark anyways so i dont know how good the video wouldve been...
