Any news on the 2012 1400 rules? I heard they were gonna have them by this race. Are we gonna be splitting up into 3 classes so we'll never make contingency lol. Pics look good. Didnt make it to this one but am hoping to have the truck ready for December.

If your studs broke on your first race they're definately a weak spot you'll want to address. The courses get rougher every year.
Thanks! Yea it was blast! Once the first Class 1 came up on me I almost shit my pants haha It's definatley pretty crazy out there but worth all the time and money I have put into it and cant wait to be back out! As far as the studs I am going to check into switching to 5/8 seems like they would be best. You passed me on the first lap and i tried following you and your line until my clutch lost pressure and I had to pull off and pump on it to be able to shift.

The studs should be easy to find. I remember it took a long time to catch you becase of the dust. It was awful that morning. You will learn to love the wind on race day.

Why was everyone running light bars? Forward facing daytime light is all that was needed if you're a faster vehicle, otherwise it's just a wind sail.

I run the light bar to help save the truck in a roll over. If I stop breaking stuff the truck is fast enough.

I'd rather damage the cab than 2500 in lights. That's just me tho.

Is the forward facing light thing a rule now? does 1400 have to run them?

i plan to always run my light bar to save my cab in a roll as well. ill gladly spend money replacing $100 lights then having to cut out sheetmetal and try to make things straight again.

was wondering if anyone knows who was driving the BLUE 70's blazer after the race up and down s/f area
    NOT A RACE VEHICLE
he was drag racing another idiot on a bike

we tried to track him down but couldnt find him

He needs to be talked too--------

I saw this as well. He was bombing up and down s/f during supper time dusting out our meal. From my experience he will eat his lunch in that short wheel base thinking he is RG.
