    Default Arizona Desert Racing Association (ADRA) 2012

    Mesa, AZ December18, 2011: Tim Jones announced today a new desert racing series; Arizona Desert Racing Association (ADRA) which will kick off its inaugural 2012 season on February 17th, 18th and 19th at the Speedworld Off-Road Park. ADRA founder, Tim Jones stated: We saw a void in the Arizona desert off-road racing community and determined that there was significant demand for an affordable family fun based desert racing series in Arizona. Mirroring some of the basic concepts other successful off-road desert series’ on the west coast Tim formed ADRA. “We have a great schedule lined up for our first year but we are also working on bringing back some of the great old venues in the near future.     ADRA 2012 SCHEDULE

    FEB 17TH 18TH 19TH SPEEDWORLD OFF-ROAD PARK, Surprise, AZ
    A 2 -Day event on a 4.5 mile course inside Speedworld Off-Road Park. This unique course will start on the Lucas Oil Short Course Track zig zag through the Sand Drags, BMX, and Arena Tracks as well as the Drag Strip for a fun 4.5 mile course. Joining ADRA’s weekend long inaugural event will be ASCC’s Lucas Oil Regional Short Course Off-Road Series of Arizona and Rally America’s Regional Series: “The Bilstein Southwest Rally Cup Series”.     APRIL 13th 14th 15th “THUNDER ON THE BEACH” Rocky Point, Mexico
    A 2 –Day event on a 12 mile course behind the beautiful “Sandy Beach Resorts” in Rocky Point Mexico. Pits are fenced with lights and 24 hour security, Saturday night party at JJ’s Cantina, Amazing deals from the sandy beach resorts, Escort to and from the border with a hassle free border crossing. www.thunderraceway.com/beachRaceway.htm


    MAY 11th 12th “THUNDER ROCK OFF-ROAD RANCH” Congress AZ
    Up to an 18 mile course for round One (1) of Thunder Rock Ranch an amazing facility about 20 mile north of Wickenburg AZ. Course has it all desert, sand wash, rally roads, and a rocky section. Elevated pit lay out allows family and crew to view 70% of the course for the main pit. www.thunderrockaz.com

    DEC 7th 8th 9th WITH SNORE @ “RAGE AT THE RIVER” Laughlin NV
    ADRA is honored to be a part of this great event!     The schedule looks fantastic! Rocky Point should be epic and I want to include some of these on my schedule to race or attend.

    I love the crossover with Rally at Speedworld and SNORE at RATR. This kind of forward thinking is what will pave success in the future.

    There's always that MC motorsports park (Tucson formally pmp ) i mean for the TBD one
