I thought there was a 1400... I'll run whatever sportsman they have. 7200 is way too unfair of a playing field....

I believe I will be pitting for a Pro truck. 7200 is a fair playing field as long as you have a $80,000 truck, unless the new Geiser Bros 6 truck comes to play.

We are doing the same. We'll have 1 TT at San Felipe and all 3 trucks at the Mint.

7S isnt racing both, just the Mint I guess. Ill be at SF for sure and prob the Mint as well although probably no codawging since theres a cap of four people per vehicle with BITD.

Looks like the protruck guy is coming through with Hotel rooms, gas, and food, so we'll be pitting them somewhere. Sunds like a great time to be had.

He is a cool dude. I sold him his trans at a nice price.

Question: what is the best for painting coilover coils? Powder coat? I'm going to be copying Steve's paint setup. Yellow coils and Beadlocks

Got a text this morning I'll be in a 7S for the third lap. Pretty stoked, can't be worse than SF at the 1000 last November.

welll...... i drove the first lap, did good. got one flat. gave the truck to tyler for the last two laps, and somehow our AN fitting on out tranny cooler broke along with another AN fitting on spare fuel pump. long story short we couldnt get it fixed and cross the start finish before 1230. we made it to main at about 1. so that ended our race day...
and another fun event, if any of you saw some drunk idiot getting arrested on fremont for fighting some dumb ass black dude.... allow me to introduce myself. cause that was me.
haha spent all sunday night in city jail. ridiculous.

Did you win the fight? And were you guys the ones in the TL with "Thanks mom" on the side and orange rims?

I was in pit 1 from 530am to about 730pm. Our car 3053 did good all morning was 6th off the line and was in 2nd by the time they came by us on the first lap, had a long pit on the 2nd lap in pit 2 and was passed but was back in 2nd by the third lap came in to us filled up and back out to catch first but broke the rear arm at MM63 and ended the race. Then stayed for race 2 pitting for 1032 who was 8th off the line and when they passed us he was in 2nd, had 2 flats on the first lap, came to us in the 2nd lap got fuel and fresh spare and ran hard the rest of the race finishing 2nd for class 10

Good times driving the truck around Fremont after being up for over 40 hours straight to finish it. Race day 7111 blew up an axle on the first lap just after Pit 2, our guy got it fixed ASAP after I found a brake line cap to give to BITD along with some more gear oil. With the time limit we didn't get to start the third lap, which I was gonna be in the truck, so I hopped in and rode from Pit 2 to the finish for 20 miles or whatever it was. Watched the TTs for a few then jammed home.

i will NEVER race any of my own vehicles in that race ever lol.

i think its safe to say BITD can change the numbers on the 7200 trucks to... 1450 lol! it was a 1450 graveyard out there! every 10mi there was one broken, rolled, missing a wheel, or 2 people hovering over the motor... all within the 1st lap! we passed so many 8s and 7s it was crazy! caught some 10s and didnt get caught by the TT's till right before pit 1 on our 2nd lap.

Ended up with the worse combo ever, used our spare tire, then got 2 rear flats 1.5mi later! were pretty much stuck, swapped flats to the fronts and put good ones in the rear to move forward. made it 4-5mi like that but got high centered .5mi from the pit! rover picked us up and towed us in, fixed it ASAP with help from the LVDC guys. Finished that 2nd lap and handed it off to the 2nd drivers. they finished the 3rd lap but not with enough time to start their last lap. think we finished 4-5th out of 10 5 opens. we started in the 3rd row, and by the 1-2nd spectator area had passed the field, we were charging as much as a bug with some 2.5" ICON shocks can!

all in all it was a super fun trip! free drinks thursday night, blast on fremont friday, raced on sat, took mojave trail back on sunday. doubt all of them will be that fun but it was better than last year
