So, I just received my entry form from WGAS.

Who's all going??? I've seen Dan Vance there every year.

I'm not sure if I will enter Ghetto1 or 2Ghetto.. or fuck... maybe both!?

Open Class Tuff Trucks June 26 & 27
Beach Buggies & Street Tuff Trucks June 28
Two Days of Open Class Truck Racing and One Day of Street Class Trucks and Beach Buggy Racing.
Sponsors! WGAS will transfer 100% of your sponsorship fee into the Open Tuff Truck Class.
Sponsorship cost is $500.00 – For your Sponsorship you will receive – Two Banner placements of up to 3’X12’
in size and four PA announcements per show for all six shows (4 announcements per show -3 days of racing – 2
shows per day – 24 announcements total) and two pit passes per day – six passes total.
All classes must have a metal cab or roll bar; open class trucks must have a roll bar or cage.
Race results are based on the quickest time. Entry fee for racing is $20.00 in advance. Day of
Show entry is $40.00 per day–If Class Is Not Full! Purse for Open Class Trucks is $2,400.00
total. Purse will be paid out each day - $1,200.00 per day, Open class pay-out is $600 - $300 -
$200 - $100 Each Day. Trophies for all Classes. For your entry you will receive one driver and
one crew pass. Must be a licensed driver 18 years of age or older. Enter in advance -Limited
Entries – Enter Now. Entries are limited due to available space – please enter as soon as
you can to insure your entries acceptance. Racers competing both days can leave trucks overnight
Overnight camping is also OK – Just let WGAS know if you plan to stay.

I was wondering if I should have put a thread in General Off Road talk to get more views. We gotta get the shit talking started pronto!!!

I was going to replace the motor in Ghetto1.. but not sure I have enough time or energy to get it done now. Maybe i just smoke everyone out again like last year. It's not like I'm gonna win the thing in Ghetto1 anyways!!

SO LAME!! Why the fuck would you split the open class into 2 days??? They are stupid they are going to kill the event! It was bad enough when they split the open and stock class and now this?? What a joke!

Yea, not sure of my thoughts on the 2-Day open layout either. Seems kind of lame. I definitely liked it as one big truck event. But you have to admit it has been getting a little crowded.

As a driver I like the thought of perhaps getting an extra run in.(maybe this will happen?) As a spectator... I'd want to see all the trucks in one day. I guess we will see how it works out.

I'm sure the Day 1 will be the best turnout.

Thats what I figured thats why I picked the first day. Already sent in the entry myself.

First day will be the day to go for sure. Ill be there that day to spectate and practice drinking beer.

ill be there for the first day for sure. and morning for the next two. dont know if i can miss class 3 days in a row and not get written up.

I wanna race but afraid of fuckjng something up. Needs some work and don't wanna weld and ugly roll bar on the back. Also wanna put bumps up from get new coils and re valve the rears. Oh and motor is shit also. =\

Here's a link to Race Dezert article on first day... looks like I got 12th and made it into the photo gallery! Oh and the track was much better this year. Went outside and back in. Big jump too.

Robbi Gordon actually showed up at the end of day 2 in some badass short wheelbased stadium truck. He rolled it!!
