Hate to be that guy......but your info is old. Quiksilver owns DC. Ken and Damon Way sold it to Quik about 5 years ago. Ken still works for DC as the Chief Brand Manager, and is in the office every week for the most part.

The shirts can be purchased below:

    http://store.dcshoes.com/family/inde...448740.3448754

DC also offers a Pro Spec driving shoe and will be releasing a second driving shoe in January.

The first rumor is Quicksilver turned down a buy out from Nike. The second, is Quicksilver is in talks with VF Corp, who also happen to own Vans Inc. to purchase DC.

It's a very interesting time in business in general. Quicksilver is valuing DC at around 700 million. Quicksilver has around 1 billion dollars is short/long term debt. So you have to think, the valuation of DC, and the interest of some in purchasing, might tip the scales for Quicksilver.

On top of all that, Quicksilver has around 400million in unsecured debt due by 2013, AND 1/4 of that is due this year. Do the math. That's a lot of cash. They are in big trouble.

Online articles, mainly. I'm a business major, so I'm a nerd when it comes to anything like this. Once I found out that they were in possible trouble, I started doing a little more research.

Doing a little more research, it would seem just last month, Quiksilver received a line of credit estimated at around 150million, form a french lending group. The rumors are now, that they will not be selling DC, and that investment was the beginning of their restructuring plan.

They still are very much in debt. I'm interested to see if they turn it around.

If anyone is interested in the racing shoe line, vivid racing sells the 1.0s, as well as the Chicanes.

    -Markus-
You're correct Markus, DC is no longer for sale. This was announced during the Q2 investor conference call when Bob announced they secured $150M from a private investor, as well as lines of credit around $250M. Quik also renegotiated their debt that was due this year, thus making the sale rumor a thing of the past.

The shirt CVP has should be back on the website in a few weeks. Otherwise, check your local DC dealer who can special order it for you or try a Pac Sun.

The 1.0s used to come in a red/black/white that would match my race gear perfectly, but I can only find those in a 9.5 and I wear a 13. Oh well, Chicanes it is.

Sponsored skater, who has a hand in the design of certain shoes and products I would guess. He might be a share holder as well, but I doubt it's anything major.

I know he still has Rogue Status. Not sure how well that has taken off though.

Look into Piloti driving shoes, they're designed just for that and have more feel through the sole than the DCs.

I have a blue DC Ken Block shirt of him doing the 171 foot jump, its graphed on like the other ones they have of his car, same style but mines blue and says "SUBARU RALLY TEAM USA, Ken Block #43" on the back and has his number and DC logo on the sleeves. My best friend bought it for me, wasn't even my birthday haha.
