Thread: SxS motor swap question

i know everyones a little more familiar with the Rhino than a Polaris Ranger.....but i have a Polaris Ranger
4x4, and i've heard people are swapping super-bike engines into SxS's now...does anyone have any info on that?

its not an easy swap. its actually pretty expensive

i figured. lol...i just cant stand how slow my ranger is. its only the 500 so obviously im no where near the ranger 700 or rhino...

it would be easier to go order a 700 motor setup from a dealer... then it should just bolt in.

if you decide to sell the 500 i might be interested.

putting the 700cc in seems to be the best way to go right now.

its really the only way to go with those... if it was a rhino i would say go for the streetbike swap. there are kits out there for rhino's but not for the rangers.... good luck.... if you want to have a shop do a streetbike swap i know which company to send you to

check out wellerracing.com they specialize in rhinos but do a good job on everything. I have seen them get almost triple the horsepower out of the rhinos

sweet! ya man i cant find to much stuff for the ranger 500 engine to juice up the power...so any ideas/ know-how/ good shops send me the link...i'll probably do the engine swap myself if thats the route i go... we'll see
