The front track width is 58'' so it'll fit in my Tundra's bed when the shocks are fully extended, and the track width is at its narrowest. And the rear is a 60'' toyota helix rearend. The wheel base is 94''. I was going to build a bed extension out of square tubing, that fit into the tow hitch and bolted to the bumper, for the rear wheels to rest on. But it'll probably be almost as cheap to buy a used single axle trailer sooo.....?

LOL!!! Which one of your projects!?!? The red F-1 or the black F-1 or ???? haha Buck finished his truck before I finished this stupid thing!!
I didn't have the patience to sell it...everyone would say they wanted to check it out but wouldn't leave phone numbers or ever get back to me. Whatever...it can sit and rust for a while till I get motivated again.
Let me know if you know of any baja bug stuff I can get my hands on....I'm scrapping the quad motor idea and go VW suspension and motor.....WHEN I get motivated again.

Dude run a hayabusa motor,08 and newer have 180 ponies and then run a quad style rear hub with sprocket and disk combo with cv axles. Then run a 900 razor style rear trailing arm. That's what I'm doing but 76 wide with running centerlink a arms and a 107 wheelbase. I know that's bigger than a stock Toyota but I drove both 900 razors and the four seater with a 107 wheelbase did way better in the rough and still turned not to bad. The razor trailing arm design can be boxed to look more like a tt style trailing arm

Good luck with that. If your just making short dune runs your chain might last a trip. If your planning on long desert runs at speed, your chain will melt down. The size sprocket you will need to get your gearing down will have it dragging in the dirt.

To the OP, if you stay with the raptor motor and 4 link you will need a diff in the 6.0 range.........

My friend fixed that problem by running a double chain set up and he is running a turbo that Dino's 350 at the wheels!!! I know it's hard to believe but that thing is fast. I'm a truck guy. I've raced m.o.r.e. for a few years just stopped because it just got to expensive to race prep my 1400 truck. So I was just wanting to built something that was a bigger than a razor with some balls that didn't cost so much to run all the time.

I rode in a 300hp turbo busa car running a chain drive. It ran all weekend on a "bad" chain but broke on the last run. It was also running a reduction box so the chain drive gearing didnt have to be so nuts. If it would have had a dual row chain it wouldn't have been an issue but he cheaped out there and was running a single. It was the chains 4th trip out and should have been replaced before the trip.
