The 6th Annual Fall Clean-up
Saturday Oct 23rd 2010

Registration begins at 7:30 Visitor Center Located on Mt. View Road
Free BBQ lunch at 12:30
Poker run starts at 1:00pm
Raffle at 3:00pm

Full Breakfast-$3
Free Raffle Ticket
Free BBQ
Free Goody Bag

Come on out for this, its a great cause. I am shooting to be out there first thing in the morning. If you make it and come and find me i will give you a FREE clean-Dezert sticker.

not a clean-dezert event. I am going to be at the event to show my support and will be donating to the raffle. And also figured i would give out a free sticker to anyone from dr who comes as my way of saying thank you.

Part of what i want to do with clean-dezert is to get the word out about other clean-ups and be like a 1 stop shop for all desert clean-ups so you can find a close one to you. Plus who doesnt like free stuff. lol

Im there no matter what. Did it by myself last year and it was fun. Was the only one to bring a car back so thats a plus.

I did this a few years ago. It was super fun and it's great to meet new people who want to help keep the deserts clean. And the prizes were pretty good at the raffle the year I went as well. Plus, it's just another excuse to go out to the desert!

no excuses people. I am leaving a trip up in calico at 6am saturday morning to make it down to this clean-up. had to reschedule my plans to do this. show your support..... Friends of El Mirage is a big supporter of our barstow clean-up and without them we wouldnt have an event.

hey adam, if we show up friday after noon and tell them we are there for the clean up do we still have to pay to camp or do we get in free?

I have no problem if he wants to stay here. Its not like i dont have room. lol Im only about 8 miles away so it will be an easy drive for me.

Lol. If you want to camp at my place you can. Its not like you likve very far. Haha. I don't think ill be taking any of the bikes, just going to be romping around in the dually. You can jump in. Plenty of room.

due to the rains el mirage is closed. Clean-up has been cancelled as the entire area is close. However if you hve a boat you can go water skiing. lol

here is a quote from the email i got. must of been nasty out there.

"The entire project is closed for next 3 or 4 days. We have 4 to 5 feet cuts in the main road coming into El Mirage and everything are closed including the visitor center, So needless to say we canceled event.......... We must have gotten one hell of a rain storm to do that much damage, Pretty soon you can take your boat on lake and go water skiing. "
