Default DMZ Fab and Race Prep: Corona CA

I am a little surprised that there are no reviews on DMZ Fab and Race Prep, so here is my take.

I am extremely pleased with DMZ. I have been a customer for over 6 years and Tim has been loyal to his customers and has great customer service.

I originally heard of DMZ about 6 years ago when I was searching for a local fabricator in the Inland Empire. I posted somewhere on this forum and Matt Helton mentioned DMZ.

After searching around and getting some quotes, DMZ was logistically closer and made sense for me.

History of what DMZ has done for my project:
DMZ has done my bumper, skid plate, light tabs for Hellas, 62" deaver install, 9" shackle through the frame, bed cage, mount fiberglass bedsides. Throughout the years I have gone for small things and Tim has never turned me away.

Fast forward to last week: I text Tim in the evening not really anticipating a response because it was around dinner time about relocating my rear ambers, and getting my race jacked installed between my dual spares. But he replied quickly. I mentioned to Tim it was not necessary, however he did not hesitate. As a matter of fact he told me to show up at his shop at 6am the next day so he can get the mount and jack skid installed as well as relocate my lights.

I would highly recommend DMZ to anyone that needs anything done for their project.

***Edit DMZ is located in Norco***

Tim is a great guy, very helpful and returns all calls. He built my friends trucks very nicely.

I find that hard to believe knowing how anal Tim is about any vehicle leaving the shop off, just saying this is nothing more then speculated b.s..

Woah. How long ago was this? I've never heard of an unhappy DMZ customer.

What was the final outcome? Did Tim fix it or tell your friend to get bent?

Sorry to hear about your buddies truck. If what you say is true, I am sure Tim would have looked at it. He is a straight up guy who makes his customers satisfaction his priority.

I do find this odd because my taco was one of the first taco rears he did and mine has worked flawlessly with no issues for almost 7 years....

Maybe this was the first haha. The truck never saw dirt until last season and was built years ago. The guy has two tacos and this one

Alright, so I spent a couple hours digging to find the truth and clear Tim's name. The bedcage was built by a member on here(NOT SAYING NAMES!) the bumpers were in fact built by Tim, I guess it makes sense haha, they were the only correct thing done on the truck.

It's good to hear you cleared DMZ of any wrong doing. Tim at DMZ is one of the most honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable people in this industry.

Sure thing. Not sure if you are looking for anything specific but here are a few I just snapped. A little dirty. Was at Ocotillo the past 2 weekends for night runs.

I have not had any work done on my truck by DMZ, but I did purchase the sua kit for my 05 Tacoma from Tim. The quaility of parts, service, and info I received from Tim is bar none. Tim always went out of his way to help and answer all of my questions. If I was to do it all over again I would not change a thing. Thanks for all the help Tim!

    Pictures of quality.

Needed parts late on a friday. Called and Tim answered at his house. He didn't have the parts but offered to go back to the shop, re-open it, and MAKE the parts that night. I said this wasn't necessary and just caught up with him later. I was impressed considering he didn't even know me. This lead me to use him for some skid plate and brake work later on. Good work ethic, extremely helpful, and fair prices. I liked the shop so much I even bought a few t-shirts to advertise for him.
