The Turck belongs to a kid named Jason Duncan (not sure on last name). A few people on here know him. Used to own a 2 door full size blazer that would do wheelies.

I was just in the process of optimizing some photos I took back during phase 1 of the build. Currently the truck is back for a front suspension system and to finish building the most of the major components of the project.

Here are some photos from phase1:

I am having such a hard time looking for anyone reputable to work on my '97. That one that is in the classifieds looks good but I called the R&H place he said built the front end and they said they only fixed it. It looks like it may be a velocity front end. Is it? Any one know of a shop that would be willing to long travel a 88-98? H&M said they were too busy.

I am currently designing a front end for 88-98 Chevys. It won't be out for a little while, but just know that it's in the works.

please get as much attention as possible to this thread as you can because ive been searching everywhere for a kit. right now im about to bolt on the fabtech kit and my only ideas for now is blitz shackles, an ad-a-leaf, and removing my overload spring for now. i would really like to purchase a new front end for my truck in a year or 2.

are you going to be running uniballs on your kit? if so im going to start saving up right now.

also, brandon (NODNARB) builds a kit with balljoints if anyone was lookin for somethin better than fagtech

actually, I haven't built it yet, too busy with paying projects to work on my own stuff...I'd like to build a kit for this truck, though.

I would say that the 4x4 platform would be much easier to work with since there is no coil bucket. Also I am sure its got a stronger hub.

My kit will use uniballs and the uppers will mount on hiems. I'm tossing around the idea of having the lowers pivot on uniballs as well. The kit will use a Toyota 4x4 spindle fabbed into a lift spindle, but it will also be able to be ran with the stocker or Fabtech spindle for those looking to save a little cash.

kind of off subject but i want to see how u modify the spindal to work with the kit and be able to kit the stock spindal to work. i say this cuz i plan on using a yota 4x4 spindal on my ranger...cuz im going 6 lug to chase our race truck.

will u basicly only use the snout and block and fab all new, or what will u keep of the yota spindal?

It is the same idea as Total Chaos's on that DV kit or like other people on here who have ran the 4x4 spindle on thier 2wd yotas. It's basically used as a platform and you run the lower uniball in line with the snout, double shear it, and run a single bolt to hold both the upper and lower uniballs in place. Eventually, I will have out a fully fabbed spindle, but that won't be until I get a higher demand. As far as being able to bolt up to the stocker or Fabtech, once I get everything going, I will see if the kits will be able to be the same, if not, then I will have 2 different kits out. One for the stocker or Fabtech and one with the 4x4 yota spindle.
