i was on the highway going to the little store. you were going the opposite way in the dirt kinda by the airport..

I have a shit ton of pictures. Here are a few. We had a lot of fun. My buddy Alex took these pictures and I think they turned out great. We spent an afternoon down split mountain and checked out the wind caves. Worth the 1 mile hike up the hill

Do you know where Diablo drop off is? You fallow the fish creek trail to the Arroyo Seco del Diablo turn off. That will go up the Diablo drop off and then over to the Mud Caves canyon. I don't know the name of the trail that runs down that canyon. I took my Explorer and the Samurai over there on Friday.

It is pitch black in there also that's why the pictures did not come out that good. There are a ton of caves any where from a couple hundred feet long to I think the longest one was about a mile, maybe longer. I spent about 3 days strait out there about 10 years ago going threw all the caves. I remember there was one where we had to crawl for about 150 feet to get out. It is really cool back there and there are some nice spots to camp in the valley/canyon the caves are in.

Man those look awesome! I will have to hit you up for more specific directions next time I go out there because I have no idea where that is and where you are talking about. Im not too familiar with this area.

I have been wanting to go back and spend a weekend just going threw the caves. Since you are 2wd you will want to come in from the S2(Ocotillo) side and not the Fish Creek side. There is also a creek over there that has water in it year round. I think it is actually a spring or something. Just hit me up, maybe I will tag along. I have a friend that owns a house in Ocotillo Wells where I camp with a running shower and bathroom. I would bring my trailer though and he has hook ups. And I could take you the round about way into the caves.

by the blu inn. in the wash go under the highway towards shell reef and bank wash. when the tree line stops on your left its right there. its maybe 500ft after the bridge. you will see it.

ill be there gotta figure out where to camp lets try to make a spot that we can all meet, PM with suggestions-this will be my first time out there

haha didn't see that it was old when i got on the forum yesterday i saw the thread on the home page, came back later and couldn't find it put in the search and this one was there didn't think to check the date! thanks for letting me know though and can you tell me if someone else has this avatar don't wanna copy any ones you know what i mean thanks man
