Thread: Ocotillo Wells For New Years?

Anybody going out Ocotillo Wells for New Years I haven't seen any threads on this. Im thinkin about headin out this Saturday nite and staying until either next Sunday or Monday, Im pretty much gunna be solo until Tuesday night when the rest of my group starts to come out. Anyone else gunna be out there???

but ill be out there with my truck. im not sure where were gona camp. i think im leaveing friday afternoon. maby thursday afternoon if i can talk my gf into going that early.

a bunch of us are rolling out next wed-sunday (30th-3rd) camping off county line rd south of the 78.......should have large group, all are welcome as long as you dont play music till 3 in the morning - FML! LOL

i may be out there for new years day or the 2nd.

ill be out there from thursday the 31st when i get off work till sunday. gonna be parked with a few other friends on the corner of cahuilla and gas dome.

any one wana plan a lil meet up. like at devils slide on saturday at like 2ish???

don't go far from camp till Matteo gets out there!

We should have a big group out there. Leaving New Years Day and coming back Sunday. Gonna bring the Mini12 and bikes. No clue where were staying, probably off the S22 I think it is or behind the hills on the other side of the airstrip by San Flippy wash.

im leaving up thursday morning =] two trucks, two rhinos, and 6 bikes

we will be out there fri morning till sunday....three trucks a few bikes. a jeep or two possibly. staying off of split mtn road at our property or off of wolf wells and morton road.

going out on the 31st till sunday the 3rd, staying at superstition with a big group

^^ seen you out there... anyways went on friday just for the day and had a blast. truck handled great and nothing broke. brents race truck did awesome besides a few little minor things. all around great day minus the dust and dumb ass people not knowing whats going on.. pics and vid come later. nothing special..

Were you one of the guys at devils jumping? I was with flyby in the expedition.

could have been. single cab yota tundra front clip and 1489?? thats bigbrent on here and he was there. i got there at about 930am and went to there real fast and it was boring so we went to shell reef and was jumping over there. i was in a lil single cab green ranger lt front and rear..

ya we were jumping shell reaf and devils slide. i seen you guys in the flyby truck. my truck was overheating real bad at devils slide that day so i just took it back to camp. we had a couple problems this trip but nothing toooo bad. i did blow up the trans saturday night tho....i think the main drive or something, its makeing a super nastie noise in every gear but it still got in the gears. im gona try to get some people to upload the videos tonight. they should be up by tomarrow tho.

Was that the Yota out there doing a shake down? I think I ran into it at my friends shop getting some welding done to it.

had a great weekend, truck did good no problems. saw alot of ppl out there. ya the white single cab pickup w/ tundy clip(brents truck), hageslag the maroon ranger with the edge front clip and i were a devils slide alll weekend. today tho we hit it before we left with wyo, white ranger giant beams and links. super fun trip

ya. were you in the explorer that lost the shock?

shake down?? stupid air cleaner bracket broke and was hittin the radiator lol.. then i get home and realize mine is leaking by the cap.

Yea that was me. I had just limped it back from down by the Blue Inn. Got the limit strap bolted back in and headed back to camp. Loaded up and headed home.

Shake down, when you go run it hard to see how it handles and see if anything brakes.

lol i figured thats what you meant.. yep thats basicly how everytime goes..do you have a white expo with tan on the bottom??? if so i saw you out there as well..

Well it does not have tan painted on the bottom. I had some tan colored mud on it though. We were 4x4ing over by the mud caves and ran into some water. Here is a picture of it before the water.

Anyone drive past me on the 78??? I was the guy that was stuck in the middle of the road. Someone stole my nut off my lower balljoint. Lucky for me it didnt tear up the threads and i had a spare

acually thats big brent on heres truck. he was getting a little tab that held his air cleaner welded back on. i just co pilot with him alot. i was driven around a lil green ranger.
